Oh no guys, if you're desperate to see Sam & Max back in the US of A stick to the games. There's a reason why it was set in the UK, and that reason hasn't been revealed yet. Something tells me their flight's going to be delayed...

Maybe you should consider making an Season 2 of the animated series, I bet you could sign a contract with someone for it (maybe Gametap). I bet they wouldn't mind having another series of exclusive (and new) cartoons to go along with the next season of the games. :D

Guess that Eisner nomination was a good impetus to finish up the storyline after so much time. Thanks for the update tho, Mr. Purcell! Comics-for-free is always nice! I'd certainly buy them though, if it meant regular print installments (HINT HINT).

I bought the games and they weren't very fun to play: I can't enjoy the games untill they are up to the challenge level of the Monkey Island games. I don't care how cheap or expensive they are if they aren't fun to play through - they could be free and I would still not enjoy playing through them just for the jokes. For me to enjoy playing games they have to be fun AND funny - or even just fun without funny - but not just funny. I might pay to watch it as a serialized show just for the funny, tho. Maybe they could add a "Play it/Just Watch it" option to the games, like a passive playthrough perhaps. Seems like it'd be simpler to just add in a "Hard Mode" to the game itself tho, like Curse of Monkey Island's "Mega Monkey" mode.

Really glad to see all that you've gotten to do with Sam & Max now. I've enjoyed your work for so long and always find it a pleasure to look at, though I wish I knew more of it beyond Sam & Max. I was pleasantly suprised when I discovered that you work for Pixar.

I really liked the surreal and warped image you got into Spectrum awhile back, by the way. It was a pleasant suprise since it was the first thing by you in a long time that I'd gotten to see. Wish I could remember the issue number so I could pick it up.

Oh, never got to thank you for the Max doodle you did for me when I bought the animated series VHSs, thank you. It's always nice to have something tangible to look at of an artist's work.

Ha! I love the pedestrian kill score on the side of the taxi. Actually all the little details just made these comics great (though I think the barmaid in the last strip was the best part of the entire series.)

As someone else mentioned Hollywood really is running out of ideas. I hope to god they don't try and make a Sam and Max movie. There is no way it would appeal to the masses and still remain true to the creation we know and love. Just look at what they've done to so many comic book related movies. *shudders*
