Okay, so I've been a little slack in getting a review round-up for Sam & Max episode 2, but the good news is there's now a HUGE list of reviews for you. (As always, these may contain spoilers, so if you haven't played Situation: Comedy, read at your own risk!)

Hi,

the two scores in the german "Adventure Treff" review are for a single episode (7.5/10) and the whole season (9/10) - some prediction of the future included.
(they rate price / value ratio)

Ah, it seems the game also got a 9/10 on Dutch site Adventure Island. :)

I was a little sceptical before these games came out, and I've been proven completely wrong. I think that so far this is just as good (possibly better) than Hit The Road. TellTale beats LucasArts!

You are right that our episode scores are a price-performance ratio, but there is no prediction involved. The first rating (7.5) is a score for episode 2 in relation to the single episode price ($8.95 plus taxes) and the second rating (9.0) is in relation to the episode price when you buy the whole season ($34.95 / 6). We will give a final game quality score for the whole season when episode 6 is out. :)

Soon. We got a little behind because we didn't want to release #4 (which has an episode 2 spoiler) before most of our community had the chance to actually PLAY episode 2.

Archive is coming later this week, and then we'll put up machinima #5.

Also thanks for the corrections/links guys. I'm going to do another review round-up shortly with some of these in them.

Not a review of episode 2, but Sam & Max: Culture Shock made it to the Eurogamer Readers' Top 50 Games of 2006, at place 44.
