SAM & MAX SEASON TWO BUILDS TO EPIC FINALE
Episode 204 available now! Episode 205 coming in April!

Last week, Telltale released the fourth episode in the Sam & Max Season Two saga -- and suddenly, it all made sense. The seemingly disconnected stories of the season's first three episodes came into focus. More unanswered questions than you knew you had were explained in minute detail. Some players laughed until they fell to the ground in convulsive seizures. This is, without a doubt, the most important Sam & Max episode you'll ever play. (Until the season finale next month.)

Hyperbole aside, Sam & Max 204: Chariots of the Dogs is an episode we've been dying to release, because it finally lifts the curtain on the story the designers have been patiently piecing out for months. According to the reviewers, it's one of the best Sam & Max episodes ever. We hope you'll agree.
Don't believe us? How about these impartial third parties, hmm?

Adventure Gamers, 5/5 - "It is the Sam & Max episode we have been waiting for. After flirting with elements of perfection, the elusive goal is finally attained."

Destructoid, 10/10 - "I already knew the Sam and Max episodic series was one of the best things to ever happen to adventure gaming; until Chariots of the Dogs, I didn't know it was one of the best things to happen to gaming, period."

IGN, 8.3/10 - "Chariots of the Dogs is definitely my favorite episode this season, and one of the strongest episodes of the entire series."
It's not too late! If you haven't been following Season Two, there's still plenty of time to dive in while the story's hot.

Just buy it (if you haven't already), set aside a few evenings for great gaming fun, and enjoy the lovingly crafted fruits of our labor.

(Editor's Note: Although it's received the highest review scores of any episode to date, we don't recommend starting with Chariots of the Dogs. This episode is best if you play the rest of Season Two first.)

Hey wait! What's going to happen in the season finale? We can't tell you that, of course, because then we'd have to kill you. And if we did that we wouldn't have any customers. But we are brimming with excitement over the season finale, and sources close to us believe that we won't be able to contain ourselves much longer. Keep an eye on the blog for episode 205 news next week.

SAM & MAX NOW ON YOUR TV

It happens all the time. Someone unfamiliar with what we do at Telltale sees the DVD case for Sam & Max Season One and gets all excited, thinking we released the 1997-1998 Freelance Police cartoon series on DVD, only to be horribly crushed to learn that no, we just make these silly games. To those people we've been known to say, "Screw you! Our games are great!" But now we have the ability to say something much nicer and more productive: "Don't despair! The Sam & Max cartoon series is on DVD, too!"

This excellent box set was put together by Shout Factory, a company known for rescuing cult TV shows from obscurity to release them in really classy box sets. Their Freelance Police set is no different, featuring three whole discs (two containing the 24 episodes of the show, and a third crammed with bonus features), new artwork by Steve, and even a Freelance Police sticker. We like this set so much, we're selling it now in our online store. We're pretty sure you'll like it too. BUY IT!

It's official. We're working behind the scenes on not one, but TWO new episodic series. One of those will be launching on Nintendo's WiiWare service. The other... well, we're not telling yet. But big announcements regarding both series are coming soon, and the Telltale blog will be the place to find them. That's all. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Emily: What will happen to Sam and Max when episode 205 is over? Are they going to make another awesome season? Or your company will focus on the wii games? = Sam and max ends or dies liek the web comic? :O(

Nothing's forever. My idea of a perfect future for Sam & Max would be one more season from Telltale, a direct to DVD animated movie with animation that looks as good as the Season 2 trailer and then a new animated series (2D) aimed towards an adult audience that lasts a few seasons. All the while Steve puts out a few new comics and we'll call it a day!

What will happen to Sam and Max when episode 205 is over?

As Sam & Max are important steps to Telltale World Domination I guess they will make more seasons but I guess they'll focus their work on the new Wii titles first.

call it ridculous wishful thinking but t would be awesome if oneof those new episodic series turned out to be a sequel to another old school game series like Day of the Tentacle considering Dave Grossman being apart of telltale or monkey ilsnad 5 (yeah i know super ultra mega wishful thinking)

then again it would be cool to see you guys do something different.

We'll take a break but then Sam & Max will be back. Don't worry. :)

Hey, if you guys don't remember me, I'm The Duckmeister from last year, and just got back into Sam & Max, and so far it's awesome.

Anyways, will there be another Summer of Sam & Max while we wait for Season 3?

Thanks.

With all of the Sam exclamations, why resort to "HOLY %$#!# BEST EPISODE EVER!?!", when you could have said:

Holy jumping weasel fritters on a hot cross bun! Best Episode Ever?!!
