Bring Season 2 to the Wii, my computer is just too corroded to support games anymore.

We're not expecting people who have already played the games on PC to run out and buy the Wii version. There are a whole lot of people out there who would prefer to play on the Wii, or who don't even *have* a PC so the Wii is their only option. That's who this release is for.

I know people who have been waiting for this to come out on Wii to finally play the games. Great to hear the news!

Nope, it's for a perfectly normal PS3 that we bought to play games with.

Aw. I just bought Season 1 on PC last week. Maybe I can convince my Wii owning friends to finally go for it with this news...

Definitely looking forward to Season 2 though. The Wii was MADE for adventure games!

We spent so much time working ... on cleaning that room. We hid the office PS3 so people wouldn't think we were working on the PS3. Fail. :(

This is really great because now I can play it with my friends without everyone hovering over the pc. Why must you make me so happy!

Monkeys! Sam&Max for WII!?
This makes me want to jump on wiiFit and be very excited.

It would be nice if the pc version just would ship with support of the Wii controller.

I hope you guys will squeeze all languages on one disc. I just read that some of the European countries will get dubbed versions in German and French. I'm German myself and I HATE that. I wan't to chose and with a game like Sam&Max there is nothing like experiencing the jokes first hand and in the original tongue. Translation always takes something away from a game and in the rarest of cases actually improves something. I can't see how some underpaid chump could improve my gaming experience just because everything is in my mothers tongue. I am a near native speaker and I really dislike going through the hoops of cross imports and stuff just to play a game the way it was intended to play.

PLEASE give us a multilanguage version ... buying stuff from the UK is too freaking expensive.

Also, wake me up when you release it for the Nintendo DS. I bet it would be awesome to play Sam & Max with that little stick. Remember, they released Resident Evil for DS :)

Wait, really? As much as I'm excited about Sam and Max going "mainstream" I'm not sure I want to play it with that retarded, jumpy cursor. Half the time it'll just go "WHEEEEEEEEEEE" for no reason. Seriously.

Awesome! Too bad I already played season 1 on the PC (if Gamespot's right about that). But if new episodes will also appear on the Wii trough WiiWare that will be the way I will play them.

Re: Languages:

There's a bit of confusion about languages that needs to be cleared up. The North American version of the game (US, Canada, Mexico, etc) will contain Voice/Text for French and Spanish text (with English voice). You will need to set your Wii's system settings to the right language, but you will have the choice of English/French/Spanish on the North American version.

Since Nintendo doesn't offer other languages settings other than the three for the North American Wii's, we don't have the ability to provide the other languages for North America.

It's the word "extras" that get me happy. Can you leak anything for little old me?

Today sirs and madams (if there still are some left out there) we witness something great. With the Wii as the leading (most popular in term of hype) console, TellTale is doing a smart move. Thanks to our assistance they see the truth and the spirit of adventure games will spread once more.
This also means if we nag, we will get it.

Our next objective is ofcourse making a Monkey Island game that does not suck and is made right! Onwards to Lucasarts!

Just wanted to let you know that your announcement put me over the edge of getting a Wii. Now I just have to dump my 360 and actually find a Wii somewhere for MSRP...

Yep thats a computer and a TV, going through a vga cable, and someone holding a wii remote how deceptive.

ok ill guess again its a computer hooked through a dvi to the tv. and the audio card from the pc is sending stereo anologue signals to the tv speakers. besides the interface having a mouse pointer on the screen has been outdated on game consoles. try to enjoy the contol sceme of monkey island on the play station two. how poor of you do do a direct port.

its ok i work in retail i have influence on all the employee gamers in the store also nearly half of the customers that check out. way to go on making the wii remote into a mouse.
