Announcing Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People
Posted by emily April 10, 2008
Our new WiiWare series has been announced.

We'll have a site up at 1:00 Pacific time that includes a trailer, screenshots, and a FAQ addressing all your burning questions, so make sure to come by then. Update: The SBCG4AP site is up!

On this page you'll find a gameplay trailer, screenshots, a FAQ that answers every question you could possibly have about the game, and the inaugural entry of Strong Bad's dev blog, which is where he'll be recording his opinions about the production of the game.

We've also added some Strong Bad merch to the store...

Woo!

Telltale just got cooler! You guys create my favorite game series with Sam & Max and now you take my favorite Email Reading series and turn it into a real game! 4 pm EST can't come soon enough, but only after I play Sam & Max 205.

Wow! Two of my favorite places to waste my time on the internets have finally teamed up! Who knows how much time I can waste now? The possibilities are endless! (Thought: Strongbad's Feature Length Film for Awesome People. Coming to a theater near you... In 2015...)

A Strong Bad game? Made by Telltale? On the Wii?

No, you can't! The universe can't possibly handle all of that awesome in one place!

I'll force myself not to overcapitalize or flood this with !s.
When I heard S&M was coming to Wii, I decided I wouldn't buy it because I would need to actually buy a Wii as well. Then I saw the H*R video that seemed to imply some stuff for the Wii - though I refused to actually believe those delusional suspicions of mine. So guess what I decided? That if H*R came out for the Wii, I was getting the console.

And it turns out it is coming out - and on Telltale. Wow. I'm sold. Very much yes like. You guys kick boat take. Now I'll go merrily frolic in a nearby field.

nhaingen, you could just buy a wiimote, a wireless sensor bar, a bluetooth dongle and a PC and you could reproduce all the fun in your own home! I did. Although, S&M and Strong Bad channels on my Wii would be awesome... I'm sold!

Totally ignore my previous comment. In fact, that wasn't even me. That was....a dongle goblin. What I would like to say is that this is quite possibly some of the best news ever. This company is clearly a manifestation of my thoughts and desires. For they first resurrect my favorite Freelance Police and have kept them alive. And now they've gone and done what I knew in my heart was the perfect thing to do. Partner with the Brothers Chaps. Telltale games....I want to have your babies.

I'm guessing I'm the only person who isn't excited about this. I never though homestar runner was that funny so I doubt I'll play the game. I'm sure Telltale will will make an excellent game out of it but the source material just doesn't interest me.

At least I've got Sam and Max season 2 to catch up with!

For what it's worth, the game controls very well on the Wii! I had my concerns early in the project, but when playing the game, it feels natural and so cool.

Waudju-- gighi-- ikuh-- AWESOME!!!! I didn't even know about Telltale Games until I was told about this game, and I just have to say it's AWESOME!!! I definitely have to try it!!
You know what I think will be next? Strong Bad and/or Homestar in a Smash Bros. game. Strong Bad's Final Smash could be turning into Vector Strong Bad, not sure about Homestar though...

I'm so excited. I may come from the UK but I saw that H.R Wii video on X-Play where he tells you how to use it with safety and such. The game was cool enough, but you just got cooler by saying it's out for PC. All I need now is Telltale doing a Doctor Who point-and-click game and I'm all set.

It's wierd, I had a dream about a H.R game 5 days ago. You are the best, Telltale Games. Apart from Moai Better Blues. Especially about Moai Better Blues!

I got Gametap just to play Sam & Max... and now you guys are taking on my other computer animated hero. Yay!! This is.. oh wow. Damn it... now I gotta go find something else to slow down my heart.

Wow, so totaly awesome... nes.. wow.
I was kind of let down at the fact that you can't play homestar, but its not bad.. at least he is there in some sence.
Not sure ill like this though, im not real nuts about games where all you do is point and click unless im causing things to happen and fighting off some kind of badguy.
I more or less envisioned a game based on that universe as being something more like a platformer, with stuff.. happening... not walk around interact.. kick the cheat.. though thats pretty cool to.

I'm pretty happy--it seems you've incorporated every part of the house to fit into one building, somehow, and you've even remembered the No Loafing sign! And, well, you've by far proven yourselves worthy to make a Strong Bad video game, so you're pretty much my idol now.
