This is looking really good.

I've been watching a lot of the Homestar Runner videos since this game's announcement. The humor took a little while to grow on me but I've come to kind of love it. I'm getting really excited :).

My guess is it'll be 1000-2000 Wii points, or $10-$20, a bit cheaper than regular Wii games.

Sam & Max the game was awesome, and Homestarrunner is too, great to see both together.

This is going to be the best game ever, even if gameplay sucks[though I do HEAVILY trust the telltale team to make it good], because, being a long-time homestarrunner fan, I will kill for new comedic content.

I've been a fan since the beginning, and I can't wait to play.. It'll be hard to match the humor of the site, especially stretching the short toons packed with laughs that we're used to into a whole game.. so I hope it won't be disappointing, but I'm hopeful! :)

trf, the trailer is just a joke, like those old 80's commercials where it looked like everybody has a cheap wig on. Also, if you listen closely, everyone has strange pauses like there making a commercial for the first time and everyone cant act for crap. strong bad is reading a script or something, cause he reads homestars name wrong

I really hope the game is 1000 Wii points or less because i only have about 50 or 60 dollars and thats enough for all of the episodes.
But, the game will be the best game ever. I am a huge fan of Home star runner and lets not forget Strong Bad. I knew about the site since i was like 4 or 5. and i went on it every day. It was my dream for them to make a game. And now it is on the Wii! How much better could it get?

WiiWare is downloadable from the Shopping Channel. Your Wii needs an internet connection (obviously) to access it. You simply go to the Shopping Channel, and when you're at the main page go to the WiiWare section and search for what game you want by name, genre, publisher, etc.

Nitemayer17, also wanted to add: You need to make sure you have the latest Wii software update. WiiWare didn't show up on the Shop Channel until a few months back (don't remember which update exactly, so if you make sure you have the latest, you'll be ok). I mention it because if you haven't been keeping your system updated you'll go to the Shop Channel and the WiiWare section won't be there.

Jimmy, nobody said it would come out in nine days or any amount of days. We don't know when it will come out. IGN and other game sites are liars so don't trust them.

A MESSAGE TO PEOPLE GETTING SBCG4AP INFORMATION FROM IGN: Game sites put a random date on there so they have a date and not just a blank space. You'd think if a game's release date was announced it'd come from the DEVELOPER'S site. :D

it is not telltale's fault it is nintendo's because nintendo releases the wiiware games randomly, also telltale already has sent the first episode to nintendo. so if there is any company that you should be made at it is nintendo

All software deadlines are fiction, surely we've all seen plenty of proof. Estimating software is like one of those "guess how many beans are in the jar" games, except that you're not allowed to see the jar. If you're lucky you get to see what a bean looks like. Caution: actual beans may not match sample bean in shape and/or size.

It's a tragedy of the industry that there is a person (the project manager, usually) who's job it is to schedule software projects. This is like having "control the weather" tacked onto your job responsibilities. The schedules made by project managers get passed via higher management to marketing where they transfigure from "crazy guesses" to "solid data". Marketeers release these figures to the public in order to create "buzz". Depending upon the company this is either because marketeers are wizards of doublethink or because public relations is handled by a different team. Zero point zero three six seconds after the "release milestone" passes some consumer screams "but you promised!" At this point the PR people, who seldom have access to the dev team and didn't do anything to deserve this, have three options:
1) Blame someone else - but not anybody who could in some way make their lives miserable.
2) Pretend they don't notice.
3) Get completely plastered and cause an international incident at E3.
Sadly few choose to go with #3, which I'm almost certain is the best solution. At least it ensures that they won't have to go through this more than once. Eventually the heat percolates back to the project manager, which is why all project managers look like badly treated animals.

I'd like to point out that Telltale never said that it would be out on the 28th. That was all user speculation. Telltale will tell us when they are going to release it. It's in the submission process, so just calm down. Do you understand how hard it is to make a video game with every person in the f*cking world screaming at you to release it?!

well, at this point im just getting other games like fate and whatnot to sooth the pain. I have no expectations anymore. Telltale is pretty much pulling a super smash bros brawl, which got delayed over a year and a half.
