Announcing Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures
Posted by jake July 24, 2008
Anyone who has visited the front page, visited the forums, or read the article by the Associated Press knows by know that we're making a Wallace & Gromit game... and now you do too! Yep, this time the dog's naked.

We're pleased to announce Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, the next episodic series from Telltale! We'll be spilling a bit of info at our Comic-Con panel this Saturday, but the real stuff starts pouring in on Monday, when the full announcement and the real Wallace & Gromit site goes up.

So for now, dive into the discussion in the forums, check out our Comic-Con news right here in the blog, and start counting the days until Monday! (Four days.)

You guys just got exponentially awesomer ( by a factor of 4) that the universe may implode from such awesomeness.

This will be an awesome game to play with my little siblings who both love the franchise and have been a bit too interested in Sam and Max for their own good (both are under 13).

You just made my day, Telltale. This is a perfect game license to explore and fits nicely with other games in your catalog.

I do hope the penguin makes an appearance!

Oh, my god. I should have figured it out. But no, my feeble intellect could not pierce the clouds of misdirection laid out by you.

Wallace and Gromit as a TTG? A match made in heaven.

Sweet! Is this going to be on the Wii as well as PC?

Will it feature fully anamatic clay figures? Perhaps much like Neverhood (old PC game developed by Doug Tennaple at the now defunkt Shiny) ?

..Just pulling your chain! But I agree fully with the AP article, this will be challenging for you Telltale peeps! Part of the Wallace and Gromit appeal is in the medium. Stop motion has it's own beauty.

Hopefully you guys really get the whole invention-based situations into the games.

Is that an in-game screenshot? If so, then wow, Telltale, you really brought it up a notch! Can't wait to see the next season of sam and max using the updated engine!

To Talltalegames staff: That's your secret series? i'm shocked. i mean i know Wallace and Gromit when i saw "Wallace's robot pants episode to Were Rabbit movie", i think it is a good cartoon i have ever seen in years, but do you think you're going to make this into a "Point and Click Gerne" that's kinda look like sam and max game engine like you control over gromit to go anywhere you click and pick up somthing random objects to beat the game and wallace walks around aimlessly. i say that would be cool.

I have no idea why this franchise never came to my mind, 'tis a beautiful thing, Telltale. You guys really have a handle on what humor is -- Sam & Max, Homestar Runner, Wallace & Gromit... You guys are like a stand-up comic in a city of stoic philosophers. :D

Oh, and one thing to add, you just rocketed to 100% pure gnarliness on my 80s scale of all things gnarly. :D
