Since we announced Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures in July, we've been hard at work bringing Aardman's quaint clay world to life, and we're finally ready to start showing it off! We've released the first batch of in-game screenshots*, plus a new batch of concept art, both of which can be seen on the Wallace & Gromit page. Go take a look!
For a little more Wallace & Gromit goodness, check out this Eurogamer article, which includes some quotes from our design director, Dave Grossman. We promise we'll have a lot more to say about the game in the new year!
*Yep, these are in-game screenshots. Our programmers and artists have been hard at work!
And while on the subject of W&G: on BBC One, there will be a 25 minutes short movie on Christmas Day! The first one since the Curse of the Wererabbit!

For heaven's sake: 'cracking screenshots'. It's an adjective, not an adverb.
Otherwise very promising !

Well, lucky for you I'm not one of the writers on this game. ;)

Someone's definitely played it... Dave Grossman (our Design Director) was a writer on Monkey Island 1 and 2, and Chuck Jordan (lead writer on Sam & Max Season Two) was a writer on Curse of Monkey Island, and that's the tip of the iceberg. Many of our artists, animators, writers, programmers, and designers worked on the Monkey Island games as well as a lot of other classic LucasArts titles, back when they were there.
As we always say when asked this, Monkey Island is LucasArts' license and they decide what to do with it. (That is different from Sam & Max, for instance, which belongs solely to Steve Purcell -- even though LucasArts made Sam & Max Hit the Road, they didn't actually own Sam & Max themselves, Steve did, so we were able to talk to him directly to see about making new Sam & Max. With Monkey, though, it's a fully owned LucasArts property, and its all theirs to do with what they wish.)

Most people at Telltale have played Monkey Island -- it's a pretty big standard in the grapghic adventure canon. Many of us have done more than just play them...
