It pays to be consistent!

According to a Gamesindustry.biz article, Telltale is one of the "most consistent" game publishers, meaning our games consistently get above average review scores. The results are based on Metacritic data. We came in at #2, second only to Rockstar. The whole analysis is a little geeky, but it makes the PR person in me giddy like a schoolgirl.

In other news, the weekend is approaching, and what does everyone like to do on the weekend? Why, play games, of course! In four short years, Telltale has come out with 23 (consistent) games - surely there's at least one you haven't played yet?! Remember, every time you buy a game, an angel gets its wings. Really. I heard it on television once.

I would just like a gameplay video or a new trailer with the replacement Wallace's voice...

If I didn't already own every Telltale game released, I would totally buy some more. Hopefully, Wallace & Gromit will remedy this situation soon.

I'm sure that every pair of wings Emily has are angel wings. And considering how many good games Telltale has, she must have a bunch of them by now. They can't be making that many angels these days.

I'm actually glad you came in second, otherwise you wouldn't be able to say "That's the second-most consistent publisher I've ever seen!"

Congrats on the well deserved recognition, TTG.

Rockband? Didnt everyone hate that game?
Either way fantastic work guys, I hope that the new Wallace and Gromitt Series give you even more recognition

Read the post again. It's Rockstar, not Rockband.
Rockstar are the makers of GTA.

Anyway, I hope Telltale continues being "consistently" good :)

Sarah the Spammer, coming to NBC this fall! In other news, Telltale continues to be Awesome, having been graded Second Most Awesome in a recent game industry study. Wait to go, Telltale, and thank you, for keeping those angels winged.

Great job, guys. You deserve it. But Rockstar got #1?! Whaaa?! That's bull! Rockstar's washed up. Valve should've been #1, with Telltale at a close 2!

See, I've always been dubious of that phrase. It implies that if I don't buy enough games/kill enough X/do enough Y, then there'll be a whole passel of angels who can't fly. And that's just too bizarre for me to accept as true.

Color me unsurprised, well except that whole 2nd part. Telltale should be #1. Anyway every game I've ever got from Telltale has been beyond awesome! Keep up the great work! Can't wait to play Wallace and Gromit.

Valve deserve #1. Or to share it with you guys. Valve and Telltale are two companies I would never pirate a game from, and who's games I would buy without hesitation, because I have come to expect a consistent level of high quality and excellent business decisions from you both. Other companies I will pirate if there is no demo, but not you guys.

I'd buy a game I haven't played if it was a new Sam and Max. =P
