The Siege of Spinner Cay coming to WiiWare this Monday!

Spinner Cay!

Get ready Wii owners, because Telltale is super-excited to announce that "The Siege of Spinner Cay", the second chapter in the Tales of Monkey Island saga, now has a WiiWare release date. The new chapter will make its console debut in North America this coming Monday, the 31st of August! And while we haven't 100% confirmed the date for Europe yet, all signs are pointing to its imminent release there as well. So rest assured that as soon as we get the official word, we'll be sure to let you know

Not sure how to buy a game on WiiWare? Check out this guide to buying through the Wii Console. As with the previous chapter, "Spinner Cay" on the Wii will cost 1000 points. Oh and one more thing... If you're worried about running out of memory on your console, maybe now is a good time to pick up an SD Card for your Wii? We here at Telltale certainly don't want to be the cause of any arguments about deleted saves or Virtual Console titles!

Phenomenal! Thanks for shrinking the time gap between PC and WiiWare releases!

I seriously did go out and buy an SDHC card specifically to hold all the episodes of Tales of Monkey Island. Tell Nintendo that you deserve to let your games be whatever file size you want them to be. Because you are awesome.

European Wii Shop Channel updates on Fridays, so I guess it will be next week's friday for us Europeans.

...I'm afraid to ask, but have the problems with the previous episode been addressed? The slowdown, I mean, because the audio compression is perfectly understandable.

Yeah I hope so too, I was going to wait buying the first one until the second was released on WiiWare but I got too impatient but I am glad it won't be long until it comes out :D yay

ATLAST! I am a Mac user so unfortunately I am forced to buy the wii version. Still a Great game. Bought My wii points for this one in july!
