Well, the scene that is shown seems to take place in the first few minutes of the episode, so I don't see it as a terrible spoiler - it's something you'd know 10 minutes into playing anyway. It's not like they're giving away the ending.

Without Denny Delk voicing him, there can be no Murray. With Telltale in my opinion having already produced seriously flawed results in the matter of voice casting (e.g. demonic Lechuck [though I do see that Blackton works quite nicely as his human counterpart], the Voodoo Lady with an accent that sounds strongly affected, the horribly, excruciatingly annoying Anemone, no serious complaint about Elaine, but with Escape I had grown accustomed to her American transformation [that I initially at the time did not take to very well] and was hoping Charity James would reprise that role), I sincerely hope that Murray's voice and personality remain consistent with how people have come to know them over two full games and that they be spared the axe.

They weren't really predictions; we've known since before Siege of Spinner Cay that Murray would be in, since that was when Denny Delk started recording his lines.

Good work Telltales, great tactics keeping the gamers waiting every month .A bit cruel to be honest Grrrr, but I couldnt hate you guys for bringing back one of my childhood favorites MONKEY ISLAND!!!! The good thing about Monkey Island is it suits many people, I'm 22 now and still enjoy playing this game :D

Why the heck they cant give us time when they gonna release it?

Its 11:58 pacific time now... so in theory they should release in 2 mins. Not gonna happen. Another 8 hours to wait. So how hard would it to be to say 29th around 10am. Not make people think it is gonna be released any sooner.

Hey guys, the game will come out in the morning where Telltale's located -- in the Pacific Time Zone. That usually means sometime between 8am and Noon, Pacific time. Monkey Island releases have been landing around 9-10am, but that's not a guarantee.

We don't do midnight releases because that would require the entirety of the web and support and programming and QA teams to stay up once a month, which is a ridiculous thing to ask of someone who is just doing their job. The reason for that is if something goes wrong with the launch -- if a big bug is found, if some piece of tech involved in getting you the game goes screwey, if the load starts to freak out the web server, etc -- we have to be there to support it. Because of that, we wait until the whole company is in the office at their normal times, ready to address any issues that come up. We all love Monkey Island, but some of the other guys in the office (not me) also have real lives outside making these games. Also we want to be wide awake and the most attentive (and not grouchy) as we can be if/when technical support issues come up at launch.

The wait absolutely kills me. Tuesday is my day off from work, and the World of Warcraft servers are down, so right now I literally have nothing better to do than to sit here and wait for this game. And I've been following Monkey Island for a LONG time (Original copy of SMI in box behind me now.) I check back here every, say, 5 minutes. As an East-Coaster, I'm frequently subject to horrible, horrible waits for Pacific servers, and even Europeans have a bit of a benefit here, in that since it launches so late for them, they can just wake up tomorrow and get it first thing. Sure, it's not GREAT for you Euros, but at least it's not a "Great, got the game finally, gotta eat dinner and then get back to an infernal failure of a raid because my idiot guild doesn't care for comedic pirate adventures..." Ah well. Typing this has absorbed a little time and I can check to see if it's out again, lolzs. And at least it's not as bad as the whole "Buy Halo 3 at midnight, then to go Pennsylvania where my brother broke his 360 and forgot to mention this to me so I can't play my game for like a week" fiasco.

ROFL, it is indeed tragic. But think about it: One day off work a week, everyone else I know is AT work, daytime TV is a horror show, and my primary hobby is down. Kids are at school. Lawn is already re-seeded and watered. Trash taken out. Floors scrubbed. Too early for me to go out for lunch. Even an early lunch. Though I could order some Chinese, I don't know. Maybe order from that Deli that took two and a half hours to find my job yesterday, even though they're right down the block. But then again, I'm already waiting for something, and that would just make the problem worse, yeah? I don't know, all I can say is that I can hold my breath for ten minutes.
