I'd love to see a colour version of the dog one.

Love the composition, dynamics and color of the first one, very cool.
Its a shame it looks a bit rushed though.

I think the action-figure-like one may have a solid shot at winning.

That styrofoam Max is totally awesome. I want one! If only it could be fashioned to work as some sort of hyperkinetic rabbity pinata. You know Max's massive noggin has got to be filled with all kinds of sweet treats.

I don't know why, but when I saw the fifth entry I remembered Castlevania Simphony of the Night. Does anyone else find the style similar?

Also, that maquette of Guybrush is amazing. How big is it?

I really like the colors and style of the first one.
My other favorite is the Marquis de Singe.

and...
@Lena_P- Its 9 inches tall.

@Xiff the amount of detail you put on it is wonderful, especially his poxed hand. I love how you put the darker circle outline on top of his over all pale green hand. Kudos!

@Lena Yeah, it was pretty much a weeks worth of work. I think I re-painted his hair about three times before I got it right. At this point even if it doesn't win I still have a really cool Guybrush figure.

Whoa... great sense of action / dynamism in the rampaging Max pic, fantastic pose and detail on the Guybrush figurine, and the "plunder bunnies" concept is cute. Can't wait to see the rest of the entires. :)

I pretty much love them all, but I totally envy the person who has a Guybrush figurine now! And I really like the first one, I might get nightmares if I had that on my bedroom while...and I like the one with Guybrush in a pumpkin a lot, there are a lot of cool little things going on in that one, nice skeletons, they reminded me of Grim Fandango.

Actually it's the one hanging from the ceiling that reminded me of Grim Fandango style. I'm glad I'm not judging, I could never pick a winner!

Wow, those are some fantastic entries! :O Especially the first with "Mad Max", the one with Guybrush and his poxed hand, and the beautiful painting of Elaine are astonishing!
That's it, I'm never gonna win or even have my entry shown here.

@beekay84 Well, yours is probably better than those Strong Bads that were shown yesterday, right? (no offense against the fellows that did them, I just didn't really like them)

How many days of showing entries are there gonna be, by the way? Many, I hope, because I can't get enough of these!

@wes008: Well, mine's basically a photoshopped picture of me in a costume, so... nothing special, really. But yeah, I know what you mean - though, sometimes, simplicity can be really good.
I kinda like the "Plunderbunnies" pic here, too, though it's quite simple. ;)

The competition is fierce! :( But at least we get some nice galleries of telltaley fan goodness out of it.

I want that LeChuck costume, I would definitely wear that next year.

Wow, this contest surely has many awesome entries!

And I'm really glad how many people here likes my entry (the first one on the list) Thank you so much! I'm seriously flattered of all the compliments :) ( I can try and see if I can make a wallpaper out of it after the contest )

And Marty and glenfx: That's my art style. I tend to leave them in a sketchy, maybe somewhat rushed look. It doesn't mean that the drawing is unfinished, though :) I used a lot of time on that one.

Oh damn... i really didnt realize that Guybrush on #3 actually is a statue... i thought its a 3d-rendering and was only fairly impressed... now as i know what it is... its awesome! maybe not as creative as "max on pcb" in the first one, but a whole lot or more work... you could sell those and make some money with it ;-)

I'm having second thoughts about submitting my unfinished "Dogs Playing Poker" sketch. I was going to color it, but I was too busy and on top of that I got the flu. Sorry guys.

I promise I'll start my entry earlier in next year's competition!

Good stuff! Forgive the nitpick but #11 there with Murray has a mistake in the word balloon:

Your = belongs to you
You're = contraction of "you are"
