OR, Savings, Donations, and Coupons: A news post in three parts.

Here are some news nuggets about stuff that's going on over in the Telltale store:

First up, there's a new holiday sale in town. If you spend more than $50 in our store, you'll get a 10% discount on your order! That's on top of the ongoing worldwide free shipping offer for orders over $25. The last day to take advantage of free shipping is December 16th, and the 10% discount is good through midnight on the 24th, so get your orders in before it's too late!

Second, when you make your orders this holiday season, you'll have the option to make a dontation to Child's Play Charity (from Penny Arcade), or to Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation during checkout.

Lastly, if you've been hoarding a pile of Telltale Store coupons, make sure to use 'em before the end of 2009! At midnight (Pacific) on December 31st, most of our promotional coupons will expire*. Gasp! This will includes (but is not limited to) coupons given out for the 5th Anniversary, Treasure Hunting, Talk Like a Pirate Day, and other miscellanous promotions this past year. Redeem today!

	The coupon from the Monkey Island pre-order is good through early June 2010 but will not apply to future series. So wait, I have this code, but can't use it on future stuff? I own all Telltale's existing stuff in one form or another!

	Why do you charge sales tax on the donations? Sales tax is only suppoed to be charged on goods and services. Making a donation is neither. I would have donated but on principle, I refuse to pay sales tax on money I donate.

	Okay, here is what I currently have: 50% Off Full Season 50% Off Single Episode Free Episode / 19.95 Full Season (TMI Pre-Order Coupon) Free Bone: Out from Boneville Free Sam & Max 201: Ice Station Santa As I own every existing Telltale product, these are not of much use to me. I thought for sure that I would be able to get away with using the 50% Off Full Season (or Free Episode / 19.95 Full Season) on Sam & Max Season Three, but we now know that will not be the case.

	The only games I don't have on PC are Sam and Max season 1 (i have it on wii), Sam and max season 2 (i'm going to get it on wii) and the first 3 sbcg4ap episodes (i plan to buy baddest of the bands on wiiware). The only two games I really want to get are the first two sbcg4ap

	Hum... that's strange... at the ToMI Treasure Hunting site I don't have a 50% Full Season Coupon or something like that - thingie anymore, just 5% or 1% Full Order. But I don't have in mind to buy a season, so it's acceptable.

	I tried to use a 50% off/season coupon (For Wallace & Gromit) but it doesn't seem to be working. Could it be that it's not compatible with the current 25% off promotion? Since the coupon will expire before the promotion ends, that would basically mean I can't use it :S
