Today was a day just like any day -- busy, hot, and punctuated with people at desks going "Cool!" and other people flocking around their desks to see what they were working on. Until, at 6:00 on the dot, some guys started sawing through The Wall, sending the people sitting beside it scrambling for cover.
Tomorrow it will be nothing but a memory. It's hard not to shed a tear.
The blue tape is still there, a little worse for the wear, dutifully preventing us from crossing. Who will be the first to venture over to the other side? And what will they find waiting for them? Tune in next time to find out.
Also, having nothing to do with The Wall, check out this article on MobyGames all about episodic gaming.
Update, two hours later: After quite a lot of vacuuming, the guys taking down the wall left. As a final goodbye (well after the vacuuming but just before the leaving) they tore up the blue tape and threw it away.
I would have paid good money on eBay for that tape.

Hmmm how very strange.
Do you have memo's or any emails that notify you of what is going on? If it were me, I'd be asking some serious questions - walls don't just get erected and pulled down for any reason... do they? .... Do they?
This all seems suspicious to me. The pictures clearly don't match your story.
First of all: that headless Gorbachev could have easily been someone else; it wouldn't have been very hard hire a headless Gorbachev look-a-like to pose for that picture.
And then, besides a cameo appearance by Thing (http://www.arts.ualberta.ca/~aoki/Teaching/objet_a/Thing/Addams/running_thing.JPG), the pictures clearly indicate that the wall tore down itself, without any help from any anyone what-so-ever, rather than "some guys sawing through it". It's so easy to always blame it on those sawing guys.
