The Tomb of Sammun-Mak: Unearthed May 18!

The next episode of Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse is coming next week! PC, Mac, and North American PSN season subscribers will be able to play episode 2 of the season on the 18th (that's a Tuesday). We're expecting the game to be out on PSN in Europe on Wednesday the 26th. [ed: fixed dates. Sorry for the confusion!]

Our story so far: When we last left Sam & Max at the end of "The Penal Zone", our heroes made a rather gruesome discovery, which sets the stage for the second episode. In "The Tomb of Sammun-Mak", the search for the Devil's Toybox and the Toys of Power continues...one century in the past.

It might not come as much of a surprise to learn that General Skun-ka'pe was not the only one hoping to seize the toys and harness their fantastic psychic abilities. In Episode 2, a slew of shady characters are clamoring for the items, and only Sam & Max's respective great-grandparents can stop said evil-doers (with a little help from some new psychic powers). They'll need to unravel the web of intrigue by hopping aboard the Disorient Express bound for Egypt, and exploring the cursed burial chamber of Sammun-Mak himself.

	The 26th? argh, no! Well, hopefully the time is used to make it work a little smoother. I mean those slow responsive menus... having more than a couple savegames is dreadful.

	Sorry guys, got the dates wrong for PSN. PSN version is going out the same day as our PC and Mac versions in North America, and will be out the following week in Europe.

	And I had just convinced myself this was coming out the Tuesday after the 18th. :D; Awesomeawesomeawesome. On a different note: Daaaamn! Sam's great-grandad's got some serious finger strength! omg is max wearing spats? Haha, that was my first thought too. It would be incredible if he is.

	Speaking of the ps3 version... Doesn't Sony update the playstation store every thrusday... not tuesday? Sony changed the update day from Thursday to Tuesday.

	I've found the official trailer for "The Tomb of Sammun-Mak" on Gamestop! And here's what I pieced together: The skeletons at the ending of "The Penal Zone" are Sam and Max's great-grandparents from 1902. They uncover a old film reel which shows the recorded past of the great-grandparents (Which I believe is the entire episode). An Old-Timey Santa is the probable enemy of this episode since he's looking for the Devil's Toybox. Of course, this just a guess.

	I got 301 on my pc and i am from europe. so i am happy us pc owners still get it on 18th may. Only 2 days to go (holds breath) lol. Got a PS3 as well but won't be getting it on that

	@bugsplee2.0 : The Old timey santa is not a propable enemy. Telltale said themselves it doesn't revolve all around one enemy, and I believe Papier Waite saying he wants people to go get the Toybox is a scheme to make Grand-Sam and Grand-Max give it to him. It's also going to be a twisty ride.
