Sam & Max, Together Again for the First Time...And At a Lower Price!
Posted by Alan August 23, 2010

The Narrator’s read the news and now it’s your turn; we’ve slashed the price of entry to the Sam & Max series for the next three weeks!

Now, the PC and Mac versions of Sam & Max - The Devil’s Playhouse, that’s right, all five episodes of the critically acclaimed third season including the upcoming finale The City That Dares Not Sleep, can be yours for the astonishing price of $19.95! We’ll have more news on the finale’s release date for you soon.

If you’ve been waiting to get into the Sam & Max universe, be it because you were repulsed by the team-up of a clothed dog and a naked rabbit or because you were too busy playing Tales of Monkey Island, we’ve got something for you too. The Sam & Max Complete Collection (that’s all three complete seasons of the series) is now only $39.95!

Don’t forget that you’re still eligible to receive the Collector’s Edition DVD of each season for free (if you cover the shipping and handling of course) when you purchase the Sam & Max Complete Collection. If you’re a Sam & Max fan, an adventure game fan, a dog lover, a Volkswagen Rabbit driver, anybody - this is something you can’t pass up.

Are you guys going to take advantage of this sweet deal? What will you do with the extra cash? Let me hear it in the comments!

Talked you into it have I? Tell this blog where to take you next!

If I didn't already have it, I would. But would I be right in guessing that there is something special for people who did pre-order?

Also, for some reason I read this with the voice of the narrator in my head.

Somehow, I don't think there would be much of New York left to stay awake, going into the second week of a giant Max rampage. Anyway, I've also already bought all three seasons.

I still have Season 1 and 201 to go through (only partway into the first episode), so I can stand to wait 'til you guys go crazier and cheaper. (Even by then, I'd prolly still not have made any progress.)

This is a great thing for new customers! Telltale definitely needs to bring in the audience and revenue to keep pace with their growth. I sometimes feel, as a loyal customer though, that those of us who pre-order and support get the shaft. Don't get me wrong, Telltale doesn't owe us anything--we're paying for a quality product, things from which I personally derive a lot of enjoyment. But geez, can a girl get a discount every once in a while??!!
