The way Stemmle speaks of the project I highly doubt it will come out before Christmas. The following quote pretty much confirms it:

"The game visuals take a stylized approach – staying true to the essence of the source material, of course. The first screenshots here show how this is coming together, which we'll continue refining as we polish the game."

@sascha: and what's about the first sentence? ;)

"Next month PC and Mac gamers will get to pick up on Marty McFly and Doc Brown's exploits, and PlayStation 3 and iPad owners will get their shot a little later on."

next month is december. and as there are 3 weeks in that month before xmas, there is a pretty good chance i think :) well i also don't care if it comes a few days after xmas ^^

Congratulations TTG Crew... the screens look fantastic!!

First, Atari puts out an awesome Ghostbusters game, now TellTale is set to release Back To The Future. It's like reliving my teen pop-culture years again except interactive and stuff.

I hope BTTF: Ep01 is ready by Christmas... I have lots of time off over the holidays and I know my kids will be hogging the Xbox360. ;-)

looks great. but... the delorean is the one from the second movie and we all know what happend with that right? doc travelled unintentionally to 1888 and then it turned into the delorean of the 3rd Movie.
So i guess this Doc in the screens is coming from the same future like in the 2nd Movie. Just that he travelled earlier to visit Marty (so the story of the game plays BEFORE the 2nd Movie for Doc but after the 3rd Movie for Marty). Sounds weird, i know. But thats the only way how the delorean from the future could come back. But this would also reveal that Doc and Marty will succeed at the end so that doc, back in the future, will visit Marty again (2nd Movie).
I hope i'm right :-D
I'm really exited for this game. Can't wait for the first trailer.
