Back to the Future: Episode 1 is Now Available
Posted by Alan December 22, 2010

The time you have all been waiting for is upon us - Back to the Future: The Game: Episode 1 - It's About Time is now available to download from the Telltale Games store!

If you pre-ordered the game, all you have to do to start your time traveling adventure is direct your browser to the 'Your Games' tab in the upper right hand corner of our site (it's the little joystick) and download it from your games list.

Update: Back to the Future will also be available on Steam - stay tuned for an update for availability on that platform.

We'll be posting a walkthrough of the It's About Time so that everyone can get through the game and experience Doc and Marty's hijinks. The game has a robust (and optional) hint system, but we like to give people options! Note: The walkthrough does contain spoilers. I'll update this section of the blog when it goes live.

If you haven't ordered the game yet, head on over to our store and order the entire season for PC and Mac - it's only $24.95

So now that the first episode of Back to the Future is out in the wild I want to know what you think of it!

Enjoy the game folks!

Yeah, not on my games list either. I tried downloading from the main BTTF game page, and it downloaded, but the launcher won't load anything other than the background art and some shapes where it looks like buttons are supposed to be.

I am so pissed right now. This is the fourth time I've had to download the game. First time; it downloads AGAIN as I go into the launcher, and then refuses to install. So, that's alread ytwice. Third time, BitComet tells me it cant find the file. Now on my fourth try I'm hoping that it works and I dont have to keep downloading and installing everytime I open up the damn launcher.

I see that there is a Forum thread on this as well, but as the post above notes, the Mac version isn't downloading properly. The download hits a 100% and then nothing happens. When I click the 100%, the bar retreats all the way back to 0% and starts over . . . hitting 100% . . . and again nothing.

What's a gigawatt?

Still waiting for the game to show up under My Games. I tried downloading the game from the BttF page, but after inputting my login details on the launcher screen, it tells me that I do not own the game. I've already sent an e-mail to the support team about this.

You know, Telltale, if you're going to release a game that's a Universal association, I would think maybe you wouldn't mess up the downloading process. Because honestly, with the money invested in this game, this company has no excuse for a simple downloading process to go awry. Fix it

I'm with swedish_jedi on this one. Forgetting for a moment how I'd prefer there be the option of buying the first episode without having to go ahead & pay for the whole season, I'd like to make sure before I fork over the dough that my computer will even be able to get past the opening cinematic to the actual game.

In short, we need a demo.

There's no dowload link at the "your games" page, but i received an email today with the download link. after downloading and installing there is just a login page where i can just login, but that doesnt work. when i enter my name and password and click to login, the entire page becomes darker and then... nothing just the same crap like at the beginning. when i enter a fake name it says that there doesn't exist such a name. So i guess it can connect to the server.
I also checked my firewall setting. there's nothing wrong. I dont know what else i can do.
there's no option to unlock by the serial code so i really need help.

If have had the game crash numerous times...except 1. It only seems to work in its lowest resolution. I have a machine with 2 gigs ram, 128mb ATI video card and dual core processor. I know it can handle higher resolution, but it won't. Try running in 640x480, it may just work.
