Hey guys, thanks for getting this out. Just opened the game on 360, went to download content and downloaded episode 2. But I was charged 400c for it even though I bought the full game on the DLC. Why are you charging after I bought the full game?

The stat that really surprises me is that more people sided with Larry than Kenny.

@ turtle: I appreciate that and also appreciated the excellent first episode in this series, but since they charged everyone (at least so far as the season pass is concerned) the same amount at the same time for the same game, they shouldn't have released said game when only around three quarters of their pre-paid customer base can access it ...I mean did they, or anyone else, really believe that the other quarter of their customer base who paid and didn't receive so much as a release date (on a supposedly "monthly" release series which was already running a month behind schedule) would be just fine and dandy with that?

Plus the fact that the UK already has Episode 2 on Xbox seems to somewhat negate the language barrier issue, doesn't it?

I'm well aware that the real issue here is Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, but Sony weren't the ones who decided to release the game to everyone except the EU PS3 (who paid the same amount as everyone else did, and with no mention of PS3 specific delays in the purchasing contract we agreed to).

Saving Shawn, saving Duck or neither? Wow... didn't know that was an option. Saving neither of them. That was what happened to me with Carly and Doug, but then I got killed to, so I had to save one of them.

I just love how they say in brackets (a date for other territories is coming soon, we'll keep you posted). Makes us "rest of the world" gamers feel very second rate. As a PS3 owner in the UK I'm quite rightly annoyed.

Yeah, so far as Europe is concerned what Telltale have done is quite literally CRIMINAL, they've taken my money and given me NOTHING, not so much as a release date for what they called (in the purchase agreement) a "monthly release game" which is already over 2 months behind schedule, either give us our money back or give us what we paid for you thieving bastards!

and as well as contacting the websites I mentioned earlier I've also been in touch with the Trading Standards Authority, Telltale, so in regards to the "fuck you" you gave Europe, well, fuck you right back.

My argument was why did XBOX players get it before PS3 players? Much to Wade's point about all of us paying for a season, yet XBOX got theirs yesterday while we on PS3 have to wait til friday (tomorrow). I call BS card on that issue alone. My PS3 American green dollars are just as good as the XBOX American green dollars right??

The late arrival of the second episode was to be expected, as this too happened to other titles (Wallace & Gromit, Monkey Island, etc): at the start of a month they release episode 1 and at the end of the following month episode 2. That way they can truthfully say they release an episode once a month and still have almost 2 months to prepare for the second episode.

But don't forget that the other titles which used this trick also released the next few episodes only one month apart. So episode 3 should be available within 4 weeks from now on.

I think release date ASAP is nothing short of disgusting, the very least you should be doing is giving an HONEST detailed explanation as to why there is a delay to paying customers of you're product, that way at least it would seem like you are concerned.
Make no mistake, there is not an issue on the quality of the game, but look at it this way, it does not seem as if this episode is gonna be released within the next week,so for us EU ps3 owners how are we supposed to be kept updated without the episode being spoiled.
Like many other posted comments this is very BAD customer service, I work in retail, and yes problems can occur for customers, But if a customer's order is delayed we first apologise for the delay and reassure the customer that everything in our power is being done to fulfil the order, we then tell them the reason as to why there is a delay and assure them that their custom is a valued priority, we then more often than not give them a little sweetener, Happy customer. Telltale have done nothing even close to the above, it's obvious they will not refund, but like many season pass pre-paid customers I will not be buying anymore from telltale, not that I think it will bother them because it would only bother those concerned about their custom.

Im in the great US and ive NEVER been fucked over by our government/business's Until Telltale games. I pray and hope every night that Telltale would just fucking speak up and own up to their mistakes. Honostly Telltale is full of pussies.

I am glad the next episode is out. I was literally coming to the website to demand a refund. What people seem to fail to realize is as customers (paying customers) your deadlines are not our problem. Your hassles designing and developing a game? I'm sorry, but I don't care. It's not my problem. It's YOUR job to deliver on what you promise your customers. That's why we PAY you to do your job.

Oh and here's a question for you, why is someone called childish on here if they want what they paid for? I think it's a perfectly reasonable expectation when money exchanges hands. Again, not my job or responsibility to coddle companies that make false promises to their customers.

All of this bitching about not being able to schedule a game, then why did you do it? If it's so out of the realm of reality to expect a developer to stick to a schedule then WHY did they sell us the idea that they could?

I will NEVER buy a TT game again. It is my right (and duty) to say I am not happy as a customer and to let as many people know what we've gone through with TT Games.

Good as the game might be but what really pisses people off is that some gets to enjoy it first while the rest is still hanging out for it. Defend telltale all you want. If I was to wait for it I might as well be waiting for a cracked version (I paid because I LIKED IT and because I want to play it FIRST HAND) not because I like to wait for it!

What is with everyone who's saying we don't have the right to be mad? We are customers who paid money for a product and now they won't even tell us a definite date. Yes, development is hard, problems pop up. However, when a REAL game developer has issues and needs to push release dates, they let the fans know, when and why. Also, to Helystra, I don't quite know what you were trying to say in your post but the first episode was in know way worth the cost of the entire season pass. Furthermore, the addition episodes are not a bonus or free expansions we PAID for them and we want them NOW!

the reason it came out on 360 first is because microsoft pays big bucks for releases to be given to them first. and as we all have seen TT is all about the money. im in the US and a ps3 user and i think us having to wait longer for the game is bull. i especially feel bad for everything that people like wade in the EU are having to go through. there is no excuse for yall to not get the game the same day as us.

I have a ps3 where's episode 2? Its already noon

I have been waiting patiently for 2 months+ when it was supposed to be a monthly release. Now it's 2:43 pm the day its supposed to come to psn and nothing....wtf. How long will you have me wait I paid 20$ for this shit goddamit! I should get 5$ refunded for this episoude for having to wait so long I'm not waiting 8 months for the rest of the game when it is supposed to released over 4 months.

Just wanted to weigh in with my displeasure. There are a lot of people getting angry and offensive on both sides of the argument and I can see why.
From my perspective this is a simple case of paying full price for a game I was excited to play, with the promise of a new episode every month, only not to have that promise fulfilled or even so much as a hint of when it would be available. This could easily be construed as fraud, as the company has taken our money based on an agreed delivery of goods, but has failed to deliver those goods without any apology or explanation.
Episode 1 was of good quality, and I'd personally rather wait for them to release a high quality product than to rush any old rubbish out just to make schedule, but there is no good reason for the EU PS3 release to be subject to this unknown delay. This is not the first game Telltale have released on PS3, so claims about not understanding how long certification takes don't hold much water. Not to mention that if they were going to make promises of monthly episodes, they should have researched this beforehand.
It's at best extremely poor customer service and at worst criminal. I'm an extremely dissatisfied customer, and if I do purchase any Telltale games in the future, it will certainly not be until all episodes are available and probably even then only if they're on sale.
It's also true that addressing the problem with a courteous and easy to find update would go a long way in receiving more courtesy from the fans waiting on the Eu release, certainly much further than simply telling people to be courteous. Given the 2 month delay and this poor customer service, there should also be an easy way to claim refunds for fans who have decided that Telltale's failure to keep their side of the agreement means they no longer wish to give the company their business. The season passes must go a fair way towards funding the development of the game and if Telltale can't deliver, they don't have the right to that financial support.
I understand that it's hard to keep to a development schedule, and the same can be said of a great many businesses and jobs, but generally if we don't keep to our schedules we don't get paid. I bought the season pass to supposrt devlopment of a product I believe in, so it would be nice to see some simple and courteous acknowledgement that Telltale Games has not lived up to their end of the agreement.
One final note, the argument that it's an American company doesn't stand up at all in these days of global business, especially when we are talking about an online distribution mechanism.

When I install, not only does it delete my previous save file, but I still can't download episode 2. AM I FUCKING MISSING SOMETHING HERE?

yea i also think that episode 1 was awesome.... so what if they delayed it for few days its not like you are gonna play it for 60 days or something ...you will play 3-4 hours and you will wait again for month and a half so for me it doesnt make a difference i will have to wait for episode 3 anyway...also what i would like is for telltale to start releasing episodes monthly not every 2-3 months...nice game...

@Kevin this is the game's official site. There's actually a better chance of the company seeing people's comments here than anywhere else. While I don't think angry language is necessary, I do think it's fair for paying customers to expect some explanation as to why a product for which they have paid has not been delivered. As you say 5 bucks I'm assuming you're an American customer and therefore now have access to a copy of the product you paid for. As for your attemp at insulting EU customers with the comment about "that your mommy and daddy gave you", I can asure you that it is working adults who used their hard earned money to pay for a product which they have not received who will be the most disgruntled.

So episode 2 took me only 2 hours. Literally 2 hours! And that's including my 15 minute lunch break that I was watching t.v. instead of playing. It was awesome...but way too short to wait 2 monts for. Telltale, you guys better step it up because you may lose quite a few customers.

Just wanted to say congrats on Episode 2, I am bit late but I got on 360 june 27th. I loved the story, very true a Robert Kirkman vision of The Walking dead, The descions you make seemed a bit harder for me as a player to make than the first episode. Was a bit skippy at times specially first play through, second was better. Anyway I give you guys an A+. Brlliant first episode, even more second, keep up the good work and look forward to Episode 3. Long Road Ahead.

GLITCH: Fix the PC glitch that makes it impossible to have multiple games, impossible to start episode 2 at the beginning, and tells me my decisions in episode 2 were 50% down the line with everyone else.

There is nothing immature or childish in wanting something you've paid for or a refund if it cannot be delivered. It is not a question of morals or good manners. It is a simple legal issue and here it is the consumer who has been bamboozled.

Telltale Games has had plenty of time to make an announcement regarding the problems. If only had they published something in the lines of, e.g. "We have had a problem with X, but we are working on it. We apologize for the inconvenience and do our best to deliver you the next episode by next month". That would've worked and most people would've understood and waited.

However, Telltale Games has decided to happily take the customers' money and give fuck all in return. Companies like that usually die out before long.

Oh... holy crap. And I tough that first episode was messed up. Now I feel like the world really has gone to shit and even Kenny, who I had a great friendship with... And I really feel bad now... seeing that most people didn't actually kill those guys, but I felt I had too. They where becoming some monsters themselves and by killing them... at least others won't end up as their food...

It seems like they have taken a lot from the comix and just changed place and people who this was about. If the next episode is going to be even more screwed up... well... at least I hope we next time could get to somewhere safe...

In a word- yes :-p Telltale don't care how they treat their European customers so long as it pulls in the loot. They already grabbed the gold so they can release it for PS3 whenever it suits them. If it is released for PS3 tomorrow I will be stunned. No word of an official update (as usual) so I'm not holding my breath.

Still not out. TellTale better find a good way to compensate for this inconvenience. I'm not greedy or want stuff for free, but the company should stick to the deadlines and if anything is wrong, they should keep people informed, not just telling us "we'll keep you posted". I will only wait one more day. If the game is not released tomorrow or at least any information about it, i will demand my money back and i will file a complain.

It will not be a release of episode 2 tomorrow that I can assure you. Guess time will tell when episode 2 hits european market. This is the strangest thing ever.

It's out. I played it yesterday and completed it. And I'm from Europe. BTW, I play on a pc.

This game gets just more and more creepy. I'm actually not sure I can handle it well if it starts turning more into shit than it already is. Watching the tv show or reading the comix feels better. Because then I don't have to decide anything. Now I feel more like if I had the choice, I would probably have killed myself :-P

Still, this game won't offer you any easy ways out. In the comix, at least at some point, they get to actually have a safe place for a time being. Still, I get the point... since this is a game version. They can't let you feel safe for long. Still, I hope we get a larger group and at least there will be any sign of hope. Else this game will just be quite depressing.

To be perfectly honest, I am not that fussed over the delay for the PSN EU Store. However, what is an issue is a simple "ASAP". Really? Not even a projected date or 'sorry for delay'? You may say it is a game and we shouldn't be bothered about it but that does not work when we have already paid for the full season. At least explain why there is a delay between the other releases and PSN. Is it a timed exclusive for XBOX in the EU? What? This is horrible practice and it will effect the sales of your next title, especially in the UK, and should really consider better customer service. Not everyone, as you can see, will be understanding of delays, especially if you fail to say why. It's effectively, in their eyes, saying you don't care.

This is ridiculous, I thought maybe my psn needed to update but still nothing, I've eventried deleting the file and reinstalling, at this rate the us and xbox players will finish the season before Europe or the uk have even got episode 2, pull your fingers out telltale

you know, you want us to be patient but your company is the one that came out with this game while it wasn't 100 percent developed. 1 episode at a time? we have to wait 3-4 months for every episode? Defeats the purpose of the fun. People will forget what they were trying to do and others will get bored and most everyone is mad

I agree with you bro and this is the last time i buy season pass, why would you even put something on psn thats not even announced...

My biggest regret is buying the season pass, if I had just stuck to buying this game episode by episode I wouldn't give a shit about the delay, I'd probably just give the remaining episodes a miss or wait until all were released and play through them then.

The issue I have now I have bought the season pass is that I am in a position where I will not receive a refund, and Telltale's 'We'll have an update soon!' comments are absolute bullshit and are not backed up with any reasoning aside from the implied 'Fuck Europe' attitude. The level of customer service and communication to their customers is appalling, I expect more from a US based company as they usually pride themselves on their customer service.

The way I see it those of us who have been fucked over by buying a season pass have two options:

Send angry emails to Telltale (you won't get a response) and Sony (who will blame Telltale for the delay), both pretty futile gestures.

The other option is to tell every gamer you know regardless of the platform they use to boycott their games or at the very least shun the bullshit season pass option that locks you in to the series. Put it on Facebook, Twitter, Gaming sites/forums.

The only way people like this will ever learn is if you hit them where it hurts, and don't buy their games, otherwise they will continue to read these posts, laugh amongst themselves and do it all again the next time they launch a game.

I haven't read through all of the comments, but if there is some way that we can get a refund I'd love to know.

Much as I'd love it to be on there tonight I'm not betting my life on it. As I've said before, posting a little ten second update to say "it's gonna be out on PS3 in the UK today!" doesn't hurt. I mean they want people to buy episode 2 if they don't have the season pass, right? Where's the advertising?!

I bet there are loads of customers who were buying this monthly who are too pissed off with the wait to even check to see if it's out now either on the website or the PSN store. That's lost Telltale money. That with the lack of advertising smacks of the whole "other territories" attitude. We just don't matter to them. They've made their targets so they're laughing.

FFS. I know I said I wouldn't get angry but what the hell? Telltale are a complete joke. If the game wasn't so good I'd be laughing my head of but seriously? No word on the release date at all? It's out for Xbox and PC in the UK? Words fail me. It should have been released on PS3 AT THE SAME TIME. A small part of me still hoped it would be out today but I knew Telltale wouldn't disappoint.

I too have bought the season pass for PSN and am waiting eagerly for Episode 2.

I have seen, at the store of PS3, the game was waiting for me not in the second episode yet for this night! They are what you are doing in the office of Japan? Do they not know that it is a game that I wanted it that?!

I'm sure it must be hard for Telltale to read these comments and help. I know it was for me. The constant bitching and complaining from outside the US is exhaustive and honestly is setting up a bad impression of European/Australian gamers as whiny and vindictive. I wanted to care and empathize, but the language and complete inability for a majority to express themselves in any other way than a constant spewing of verbally abusive drivel, makes the reader incapable of doing anything else other than roll one's eyes and praying for silence. If that is the only fan base you can acquire there and it only makes up a quarter of your sales (temporary, as they all demand money back at the first sign of inconvenience), I'd just give up and move onto an audience less likely to emotionally implode on a public forum like disturbed mental patients.

Now, I've done my rant and I'd like to honestly say that despite all this crap I've seen, I hope all these issues are fixed. No one wants to be inconvenienced and I'm certain no company makes money, and is in the business as long as Telltale has been, with a sales tactic that purposely swindles their customers. Patience is key and no game, no matter how much you like it, is worth having an aneurism over.

Good work Telltale! I've really enjoyed your products through the years and I hope you look to us, your actual sane fans, for the support you need to continue your fine work. Looking forward to the next episodes!
