A Message From Telltale
Posted by Telltale Games July 5, 2012

Hello Everyone

First and foremost we want to thank everyone for their patience with regard to the launch of episode two of The Walking Dead. As you may know, it arrived later than anticipated and this has been a cause of frustration for everyone.

Our goal from day one has been to deliver your game episodes as quickly as possible, and where we can, simultaneously across all platforms and regions. We've been working closely with our phenomenally supportive partners to try to make this a reality. We will continue to work on this and furthermore, we will strive to improve our communication with you so that you know what’s happening. Please rest assured that we are doing all we can to get your game episodes to you as quickly as possible.

For many of you, the most important thing is to let you know when the next episode (Episode 3: Long Road Ahead) will be available, and although we can't give you an exact date at this time, we can say that episode three will be ready in the middle of August, and that we and our partners will do all that we can to release all platforms and regions as close together as possible.

The response to episode two has been overwhelmingly positive and we can't say enough about how much we appreciate everyone enjoying what we are creating. We’re truly humbled by your continuing support.

We look forward to your feedback on episode two and can’t wait for you to play episode three!

August? Is there going to be a two-month wait between every episode? I don't mind if there is, but I know other people will.

Still, I loved Episode 2. Worth the wait, as Gaben would say. :)

Mid-August? So realistically speaking, we'll say Sep 1. Nah, you'll do Aug 31, so you can brag about meeting some target date...this started in April...monthly...shoulda been #2 in May, #3 in June, #4 in July, #5 in August...if we're LUCKY we'll be at #3 at the end of August. So you're still at least 2 months behind, and not catching up, going in the other direction.

I don't get why everyone is complaining about it taking a long time. As long as you guys keep making the story amazing like it has been, it could take a year for the next episode to come out and I would be happy. This game is awesome. I love it.

People resent waiting longer when it was originally sold as monthly episodic. Also, for people who live in Europe,we then have to wait longer still than our American friends. When this happens with very little communication, you have to expect people to be unhappy.

Great to know that episode 3 is well in production. I love the game, but I kind of hate the choices I have been put to choose. I started out like a real nice person who was honest with people and cared. After that whole thing with Mark and me getting a bit panic and not reaching down to the dining room in time. Kenny killing Larry... and even tough I kind of hated Larry, I didn't want to kill him in cold blood. Still, I understand why Kenny did what he did. I mean, if Larry died when we tried to save him. He could attack us and we would be locked up with a zombie. And afterwards, I killed those two brothers even tough I may not have needed to. And why did I kill them? For same reason as Kenny. I killed them to keep us and other people safe. Beside, they was more dangerous than regular walkers. Man, I hope that in the next episode, I get to tell Kenny that even tough I didn't aprove of what he did, I understand why he did it. Since the game offers a lot of hard decisions, it would've been nice to keep the few friends you have. That food thing was quite a hard thing to do. I mean, we had little food... and not for everyone. I choose to give it to Clementine, Duck, Kenny and Larry. I tried to get support from everyone.. Well, it seems like it goes pretty much downhill from here. Man, I wish the games might have been a bit longer, so I could get more time to become friends with more people there. I don't know if anyone will have my back anymore.

These episodes shall take as long as they'll take, and that's fine. Does anybody remember how long we waited for Quake to come out? How about the later Harry Potter books, or the final part of Philip Pullman's Dark Materials trilogy? The first episode was something quite new in gaming, in its own way: the closest I've experienced to an honest-to-goodness interactive movie, loaded phrase though that may be, and it was clearly a game which the creators had put a lot of love into. Keep that level of quality up and, in the long term, everybody will be happy. It's much better than pushing out half-baked, forgettable episodes just to meet impatient folks' deadlines.

I thoroughly enjoyed episode 2 as I did episode 1. I can't question Telltale Games creative ability. If there is a genuine effort to improve communication with customers then the company may yet redeem itself in my eyes and those of many of the disappointed customers.
I will say again as I have before, a clear and simple explanation of a delay such as that experienced by EU PS3 customers would have been all it took to assuage much of people's frustration. It's unacceptable business practice in any field to fail to deliver and just offer "I'll do it sometime soon" as an explanation.
As with many other people posting here, I'd rather wait longer and have a quality product, as long as there is some genuine communication if such delays occur again.
Anyway, well done to the creative team.

This is just maddening - it's as if you are pretending that there is no issue with the European release. Apologising for it being a little late when most of the rest of the world do not even have it yet is frankly offensive. You have reached a new low in my estimations. Please, please give us an update for when we can see the European release?

I for one am over the moon that Telltale took the time to update us, it's what we have been asking for all along. I can't though believe that when they do that there are those that start to moan, I mean do you want to be kept informed or not??
Be positive people or don't come on here, Telltale are much more likely to keep us informed if there are sensible mature comments, not whining!!

Telltale thanks for the update, all I ask is that you keep us informed of progress no matter how small as I am sure this will help us through the wait.

I don't care if I have to wait fpr a good game. It simply is/was the lack of communication which I have never experienced in such a way and especially not from TTG. If you completely stay away from the radio silence which happened in the past I MAY forgive you.

Too late for this.
Almost one month without updates (excluding Jake's posts on the forum), a savegame-eater product at the end, and a sneaky update on the game website ("monthly" changed to "periodically").
I really hoped that the communication we established with Dan some months ago (during the JP fiasco) was worth something. I even thought that the bugfree soon-updated first episode of TWD was a sign of good things to come. Now I am SERIOUSLY disappointed.
At least you should have the guts to say episodic gaming is dead. Your production model has been struggling since 2009, when you started to make games bigger in scope. You managed to get the games out on time, but they were full of bugs. Now they're not even on time.
The Walking Dead is a great game, but the company on the whole must be worth its work.
I've been following you since 2005 and watching your inexplicable fails mar your ambition and creativity is excruciating and saddening.

My only issue thus far has been the lack of adhering to your OWN schedule. You can't just tell people MONTHLY EPISODIC CONTENT and then release it every other month. For BttF you released the 2nd episode 6 weeks after the 1st one, but then you released every other episode on time like you promised.

If you cannot meet your own established deadlines, then don't give them. Just work on the game in it's entirety and release it all at once.

Also, people were massively ticked off because of the lack of communication.

If The Walking Dead becomes a franchise that TTG continues with after this particular season, I won't be buying the season pass anymore... which seems silly to me anyways as a PC gamer... you don't get a discount, the episodes are still $5 each and to hear that other platforms got a discount is more than a little annoying to me.

John: Yes, very droll. But if you think about it for a moment, I'm sure you'll agree in principle that if a game has been released on a platform, it's not unreasonable to expect it to also actually work on that platform. If Telltale can't handle that, they could have kept it WIndows only.

Hugs and kisses.

I bought the season pass. I'm in the UK and I've just checked again on my PS3 and episode 2 still shows as 'coming soon'.

Will the Xbox have episode 3 before us European PS3 even users get 2?

The way in which you're treating your paying customers (especially considering you promised 'monthly' releases of new episodes) is a joke.

The first and second episodes as far as story goes were totally awesome.

But I hope you guys can really work on getting the issue with the voice sync and stuttering cleaned up a bit for Episode 2 and for future games on the consoles. The amount of framerate and voice sync issues for a game that is not all that graphically intensive game like these WD games should be non-existent.

I'm just glad on the Xbox that I haven't had to pay for all of the episodes yet with the delays that the game has experienced. I don't have to buy them in the future if I don't want to. I feel sorry for those that have though since they were originally promised monthly releases which TT is obviously not meeting.

Episode 2 came out in Europe yesterday (5th July). I downloaded it yesterday and played it today. And I have to say it was very good. I think I'm very patient and I initially was getting annoyed at people who were demanding refunds after 5 weeks, but by week 10 I was getting pretty pissed off too. I like the episodic releases, but over 2 months ruins the format. I was really psyched for episode 2 when I finished the first one, but by the time I got to play it I'd kind of lost interest. After playing it I am now psyched again (for episode 3) but just hope there aren't any more delays.

Appreciate the attempt to connect with your fans but it still feels rather hollow. Its a good "thank you" post for a retail game that slipped its release date, but its not quite good enough for this situation. You advertised monthly releases, failed to keep up your end of the bargain and then categorically refuse to admit in any official post or announcement that TWD will no longer be released in monthly enstallments, instead sneaking around altering any FAQs and wikipedia entries that you have lying around.

There's been no reason given for the delay and change of schedule, and most importantly, no apology, just "thanks for your patience". Admit fault and assure us you'll be more communicative if there is a delay in the future. THAT is a proper blog post for this situation.

I feel like i'm teaching basic PR skills here :-/

Dear TellTale,

As a (very) long-time fan, I don't mind when the episodes are "late". I'd rather avoid the disappointing animation, lip sync, texture/lighting quality, and audio issues that plagued Back to the Future. Like everyone else is suggesting, more transparency and a few in-progress screens and mini-documentaries that show what is being worked toward would go a long way to keeping us happy.

Episode 2 is such a huge leap in animation and texture quality from Episode 1, I'm happy to have a slightly-longer-than-monthly cycle to get to the levels of quality we saw in The Devil's Playhouse. In this sense, The Walking Dead Episode 2 is a return to form after several series of extremely uneven quality.

I, for one, hope that this upward quality trend continues.

@EU Gamers as Telltale Jake said: "There is no difference [in release] other than which agency certified the game (the North American groups certified the game very quickly, while the European groups took longer before authorizing it for release). The game has never been in any language but English, including the first episode, and I don't think it has ever been announced otherwise.".
JAKE QUOTE

The English version is requiring a large part of Telltale's attention, I think the 4 + extra languages would be more than Telltale should optimally deal with at one time on effective resources...

Stay patient, telltale is working hard on bringing this entire exciting new season of walking dead everywhere it can, in English as soon as possible, it's too early to judge them since they have FIVE planned. Let's see how we feel in a few months looking back content at a VERY fulfilling interactive experience.

Allow me to simply restate this challenge to all disappointed (impatient) gamers:

Would everyone rather we didn't get Episode 1 until May 24th (Compared to the APRIL 24th day USA release got)? Would that have been a preferable alternative? Waiting the extra month to play the game AT ALL?

Personally, as a fan,I would much rather wait 2 months for Episode 2 with Episode 1 in my hands! ANd lots of video game reviewers and website users agree with me! YEs the extra 10 weeks or Whatever was PAINFUL, but I know the telltale team felt that pain and then some!

This reminds me of the comics where we get 20 pages a month and sometimes Kirkman takes 6 7 weeks IF HE NEEDS too. He has done 100 comics, that is many months. Each and every release by an artist is DIFFERENT and unique, and comes with it's own set of challenges. I digress...

OBVIOUSLY, Episode 2 gave the Telltale team some EXTRA hurdles and errors to overcome. While they were doing the HARD WORK to make the game they love play JUST RIGHT (instead of broken dialogue or bad gameplay loops which are tough to find sometimes...) While Telltale was working OVERTIME the past 5 weeks, we were all happily relaxing playing episode 1 and reading comics, they were working, OVERTIME

Thanks for opening up the lines of communication! I think most reasonable people understand delays and the like, it's when those kinds of issues aren't addressed that you can start to feel slighted. That said, the game so far is now in my top ten favorite games ever. Considering I have a 24 year or so history with them, that's no small feat. Keep up the great work!

Wow. This has been a long time coming. It doesn't seem so complicated to keep customers in the loop. While I completely respect the art of game design and am the first to admit that I am hardly aware of how insanely difficult it must be I do feel it was pretty poor customer service to advertise the releases as monthly (the only reason I decided to buy the games while I was waiting for the show and comics) and then just sneak around changing it without an announcement or any form of communication to your season pass holders. I mistakenly bought Jurassic Park while waiting for Ep 2 because I (naively) believed TellTale was an honest company but after I get my money's worth(Read: the rest of TWD episodes) I will most certainly not be buying anything else from this company again. Not that it matters but I know for me (and i'm sure others who are annoyed) this could have been completely avoiding with just a bit of transparency on TellTale's part.

I love the game, I bought it both on PC and PS3...I was more than disappointed to have to wait so long between episodes to begin with, and then have it release later on PS3 and PC without knowing so before purchasing was not something that should have happened.

THEN--I could not download it and play it properly on Steam or PSN on Friday, the day it was to release, I put in emails for support for both versions and received a total of zero responses. Still have not gotten a response.

I asked questions on twitter, with no response. Now this blog says that the game should be finished mid august, and I hope that they mean finished, and released no later than mid august, as I recall another comment at one point saying episode 2 was beign released in early June.

Frankly, I wouldn't even care if the communication had been better, the game is amazing and speaks for itself, but I will think twice about purchasing telltale games upfront in the future. The two platforms I purchased this game on were the ones mostly effected, perhaps it is just my bad luck and I should not care, but a simple, I don't know, apology would not hurt.

I don't really mind waiting for this. Because I think it's really, really good! But, what annoys me right now, is that everyone is talking about episode 2. And I, on my PS3, can't play it yet!!!! =/
I did know that it was going to be a later release for PS3 users in Europe. But more than a week!? July 6th, and still nothing. And the fact that there is no release date for it on you website scares me, because you guys should know that date by now! - Guess I just have to keep dogging spoilers 'till its here!

Funny to hear that people say this game is "innovating" and never done before and oooh sooo fantastic. Dudes... Try play Grim Fandango or any other game that has the "I'm walking around in third person view and can interact with certain stuff". It is not quality, it's more or less just disputes on how to get it on other platforms and do some drawings while talking with the comicbook guy who launched dead walking comic series.

Yeah it's a great game, yeah it is based on the decision you make but it all got the same red tread. Based on whoever dies etc etc.

The only reason I hated the delay was because you all clammed up and treated us like trash like we weren't worth the effort. Just let us know what is going on. Sure, it sucks that it isn't monthly like you originally planned, but I can overlook that since you really do have a quality game here.

I appreciate the message, but in case you continue releasing episodes that are bugged and are too far away(It was supposed to be a month away and now your saying next episode is a month and a half away!) your next game is going to sell poorly.

give as an episode every month, that works well(I cannot play with shadows for example, something to do with radeon drives, an issue you seem to ignore) and your fan base will grow... otherwise...

I'm glad to see that Telltale is recognizing the frustrations of its customers in deciding to keep everyone informed with releases. Certainly, quality in a product is essential and too many games, of late, are being released "broken" for the sake of satiation or competition which, in my personal opinion, is far more frustrating than a delay in release.

If the game's advancement between episode 1 and 2 is a peek into the development of all five episodes, I'm so very glad that I invested in this game. Kudos.

I am truly happy to see you guys talking to your customers and reaching out like this, excellent! :D I am, like almost everyone else, very, very happy with Episode 2 of the series. I was blown away and had this very serious feeling of dread when all was said and done. I was one of the many who picked up their pitchforks and torches when the delay hit but I can say now that I see what a "rushed" release might create. Episode 2, IMO, was way more buggy than Episode 1, which in retrospect was nearly flawless. I'm looking forward to continuing the ride and I know many people appreciate the target release date. For now, I'll ride this out, but since I now know it will be released in retail stores on some sort of game disc, I might either A) Wait until they are all out then get the disc, or B) Just refrain from playing them at all until all are released and had time to polish things up a little. Thanks for the update.

Ugh, how irritating is it that they will put them all out on a disc once theyre released, and then another two months for episode three? I was certainly amongst the numerous people who complained about the delay, however I will say that Episode 2 was great.

I think the issues people had with this was more down to the lack of communication from TTG, and I hope this has been a lesson learned. Everybody who bought a season pass, myself included, all want to play the game and the vast majority will accept delays. What I find hard to accept is parting with my money and having to hope the next episode is released soon as I know I won't hear anything from TTG. Perhaps promising a new episode on a monthly basis was too ambitious? It would have been nice to know more about what has caused these delays.

All criticism of TTG as a compnay and how they handle consumer relations aside, The Walking Dead game has been great so far. If the quality is maintained throughout the remaining episodes I will definitely consider the next Walking Dead game, but I'll never buy a TTG season pass again.

I'll keep this short.
YOU advertised a monthly release and didn't deliver. For those like me who don't suffer from brand hysteria, the feeling of frustration is palpable. Not because you didn't deliver on schedule (most people make a valid point that its better to have quality later than trash now. I support this) but because you failed to inform-those who matter most-your fans and customers. Now only after the dust has settled and we have our fix you give us your apology? BS I say. I checked your website every day for months, would it have killed you to write a short message on the status of episode 2? Too little too late.

Don't get me wrong, I love what you guys are doing but you pissed us all off with this childish lack of information. Please don't let it happen again.

It's always been my opinion of quality over quantity, but within reasonable time, and this time frame -was- reasonable for the quality of episode 2, which I believe was every bit as good as the first. I would rather game developers take a bit of extra time (though hopefully not years worth) to make sure it's a quality game first. Updates are nice of course as to when the release may be, but sometimes that just can't be so clear.

Anyway, I thought it was awesome.

July 16, 2012, 7:06 am
well, the game tells a very interesting story and there are options to change the frame of the story. But i expected more to have an influence on the core of the story. If it take 2 months to finish an episode, which is played through in a few hours, it should have more different ways to change the story. played it three times through and see there are different standings at the end of the episode 2, but some decisions doesn't have any influence on the story.
In the first episode where you decide to wait till evening to go from clementines home or directly, there is only a difference that one guy does not nd up as zombie or that you meet a cop. I hope these decisions (there are more like the coise if you go to the diary or don't make a deal) will have an effect on coming episodes otherwise i'm a little bit disapointed.

Complete other point. I don't understand why everybody in here is happy that it goes longer to get the episodes playing. I paid telltale for their promise to get every month an episode, I paid telltale for something which they did not allready finished. I regret also that i could not wait till all episodes are done and then buy all together. now i have all 3 game slots in the game at the point where i want to see the actions of my decisions before and i bet i can not remeber in middle of august which decisions i took in these three different games i played with episode 1 and 2. thats not ok for me.
I expect of telltale that they can provide the quality of the game with reaching their own goals. Not the players said that they have to fullfill the schedule, telltale promised.
Additionally i expect a bonus for those who allready bought the complete game before all episodes are published, even for those who buy the game at episode 4. that would be the least what telltale could do for all that patience and the rash promise: "monthly episodes".

There are many users having this problem and telltale has not provided any workaround or solution to the issue. See:

Basically I have paid for a game I can only play 1/5th of. I would warn others not to buy unless this issue is resolved.

Look it is a great game and mind blowing storyline, BUT Telltale you did lie to us by saying and i quote " this was to be a monthly episodic title" don't make promises to customers you can't keep, don't make only a little bit of the game then release it to the public and delay the other parts of the game, anyone with half a brain would make sure and yes it can be done that you have everything ready except maybe a few bugs if THAT, that your game will be released on time AS YOU PROMISSED WHEN YOU FIRST START SELLING THE GAME.

I think the wait actually made the second game better, because I was looking forward to it more and wanted to know where it would go from there. The first two games were great, I think episode two might even have been better than the first.

My minor gripe with episode two was not knowing at what time the game would be released, it only specified the date, so I was constantly checking back on the site to see if it was live (wasn't a problem with the first, because steam had a countdown). Perhaps once a release date is set you guys could implement a countdown on the site, so people in different countries know when the games going to be out?

Congrats on the success thus far and thanks for two great games! :)

I am shocked that everyone actually expected the episodes on time. Anyone that has purchased a game from tell tale before should know that they can't always make the release on time.

And not to be rude but how big of a loss is it to you to have that 20 dollars spent on a season pass gone as you still get the content. If 20 dollars is a life and death, food or not, rent or eviction situation to you I suggest you sell whatever you are playing games on and probably find something else to spend your money on.

Telltale has done a good job on this season so far, aside from some lagging and such it's been 2 solid episodes and I am waiting patiently for episode 3 whether I receive updates or not. What does everyone do with their time that they can't occupy themselves with something else for a month or two between episodes. Going outside or hanging out with friends would keep you distracted if you weren't all so busy expecting tell tale to do whatever you want them to do even though they haven't said they'd do any of it.

Jus't stop whining about the delay, that they can't keep there promise.
Are you that perfect? No, you are an antfucker that is very unlucky and want other people feel the same as you because you can't stand seeing other people lucky.

Really? We all know game release dates get delayed. Ep2 was pretty fast compared to other titles. (Skyrim)

Telltale, i think i'm going to buy Jurassic park, i don't mind the bad reviews, i love dino's, and i love how good you guys are at storytelling.
+ aiming with the four buttoned crosshair at a zombie is fantastic and gives the game a shooter feel to it, it's a perfect distraction/mix from the adventuring itself.
I love how the adventuring is not to complicated and most importantly, makes sence.

I hope you thank me for this kind message.

Thanks, Telltale. I personally don't mind waiting for a game, but I do mind if a company is not transparent with me, and that was the trend of Telltale for quite some time now. You proved that you still have what it takes to make quality games with The Walking Dead, now you're proving that you can still be a personable game company with this message.

pixel: Riiiight... so you mean to tell me that you have inside sources that tell you that telltale games just put out a direct lie in our face with this post? They said that episode 3 is going to be released in the middle of august... why would they say that if they knew it was a lie? And that they would use a couple of years making a game that was supposed to be mountly... yea right.

Well... to compensate the fans and gamers for the inconvenience and the wait, in an abstract way, TTG needs to make sure that the next episode is longer than the first two and has many more variations of options and choices for the story (otherwise, they would need to give everyone who've already brought the first two episodes a free download of the third one... ;-)

I personally was not annoyed by the delay, more by the utter lack of communication from TTG. If we have paid for a season pass the very least we deserve when delivery targets are not me, is an explanation. Judging by some of the comments there are a lot of gamers who will never make a purchase from TTG again, this could all have been avoided by some form of customer service.

I think the game is great, although I am more of a fan of The Walking Dead than TTG, I am not usually a fan of their games. However they should be congratulated for making TWD as they have done it justice. I would consider investing in any potential follow up to this game, but I think in future I will wait until all episodes are available, rather than fork out immediately via a season pass and suffer the silence of the non-existent TTG customer service team...

I agree with those calling for a proper release rather than hitting target dates and rushing what could be a great game.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes and have replayed for my retrospective best choices path. The story is developing well, replay value not so much, I hope you guys are making plenty or some different story lines to follow, id like to see more non-linear paths, please don't be a 'choose your colour' ending. Id love for this to be one of the best.

Total lack of customer service. A good game , enjoyable and fun but not great. Sorry, but I will never purchase another game from Tell Tale. Abysmal service, lackluster performance, and the wait for a glitchy game...more than sophomoric. At the very least you could have been much more open with your customers. Sorry, but your treatment of your customers, along with your ill performing game and inability to reconcile those issues puts Tell Tale in a very unfavorable light. False advertising followed by poor customer service is truly unforgivable.
I'd rather read a choose your own adventure novel than be hoodwinked.
Great idea, and riding the coat tails of an established winning graphic novel, and TV show are your reason for any success. That is truly unfortunate for all involved.

I hope you get your ducks in a row, because you are burning the hardworking and trust of those who's shoulders you stand on.

I wish you nothing but the best, but as a disappointed fan of The Walking Dead, and a mistreated customer of The Walking Dead video game I must relay my criticism.

I find it hard to believe that the episodes are that hard to get out in a month. Back to the Future had a two month wait between the first and second but then it was released ON TIME like promised. It just sucks when you wait all month thinking it will be released monthly.
It's not just Telltale, but all game companies.

Either was I have played all your past releases and been happy with them all. Just don't keep us waiting till the last week of August.

I'm happy to know that Episode 3 is on it's way. I love Episode 2 and how we get to choose how Lee adapts to this world. In the begging I was the nice guy, tried to keep them calm helped whomever I could, was trusting, but by the end of episode 2 (I make my choices as if I were in this situation) I became a ruthless leader. It was like looking into a window of what I would become in this situation and it scared me. As much praise as I am giving you for this story I want to make one thing clear:

We weren't mad about the late release of Episode 2, we were PISSED OFF that there wasn't any press release explaining the delay, thank you for releasing one for Episode 3 with an estimated time of release. I don't mind waiting 2 months for the next game (better than waiting years) but I know that many customers were outraged by the lack of notification as to were their money went (those with the season pass anyway) I love this game so please make the people happy so I can get a Season 2, if they stop buying your product because of poor customer service, then there is no need to make the product.

I am happy to have episode two.............finally. However you can't treat your customers the way you do. If you release a game and promise each episode a month apart you have to deliver. If you knew you wouldn't be able to deliver then you should have spet more time inthe beginning before you released the game to be ready. Having a great game doesn't make up for having my money and deciding when you want to provide me a product for that money. The real world does not work the way you are treating it. Since you have NO way to properly contact you we can't even get our money back. Then you turn around and do it again for episode 3. The middle of August in your minds I'm sure will make it ok when you far exceed that and tell us since there was no exact date you are still ok. Yeah the game has been great so far but to be honest I played it way less because of how long between and how annoyed I am. In fact if I had not been conned by you into paying for the full pack I'd probably not buy the rest of your game after the first episode because of all this till it was on sale. I won't be buying anymore of your games and I'll be sharing in blogs, life and anywhere else what you think is proper treatment of customers. And to think you could have just communicated all along the way and kept at least some of our respect.

I am surprised to see that the "hell freezes" option in the forum poll for the release of Episode 3 to be at 20%, it's almost the end of July. There's an element of unprovoked impatience here right after the majority offers you praise for episode two despite its tardiness.

You guys keep doing what you do. Frankly what keeps me patient is that I won't always have the money ready and I know it. In fact, I'm still saving up for Bethesda's Skyrim DLC, Dawnguard, and that came out last month.

Truly showing that many of the complainers are the MTV generation. I'm speaking of the ones that never saw it when it was commercial free and only played music videos. Relax, go outdoors, speak to people face to face. It'll be here when they're done. Your whining & bitching reminds me of the dumbass Chihuahua next door. Makes an annoying noise barking but doesn't do anything. Well it does one thing. After a couple of hours I open a door or window and sounding like I'm using pa system politely remind my neighbor to shut up his barking rat or I'll gut it like a fish. Great game btw.

Hi all,
I don't understand some messages. I can wait one month more, as long as the game keeps on this way. It is a brillant idea. I don't know what to say more, I don't want to spend 2 thousands lines in congratulate you. I really do hope that you will keep on improving this idea, that's so nice. When I was young, I started to play on "computers" (it was not yet existing in this term), it was only a black screen with white bars, like a tennis match ... now, we have so many things, real time actions, all styles of games, etc ... plus, this new kind of "game - story". I don't understand what they are complaining about. May be it is not "perfect" yet, but could you please just try to look back in order to see all the progress that has been done over the 20 past years ? Let's imagine the future, and enjoy what we have now ...
I'm a programmer too, not in video games. I can easily understand that things cannot go always fast and perfectas expected.
Let's wait for the next release ...

Hi, 6foot. Thanks for your reply. A couple of things:

1. Yes, Einstein, I was being serious about blowing up the entire Internet. Facepalm.
2. I am griping about the constant whining about inverted controls because it is stupid. It's not like you're playing a flight simulator.
3. I don't know if you realize it, but the fact that you don't seem to want me to post things on the Internet contradicts your entire post.

Also, you spelled a bunch of stuff wrong. I mean, who misspells "great"?

The wait times no biggie what bothers me is that the story will be over after 5 episodes. If this game is so well received and it's about survival, it should go on for as long as it can
