Announcing Playing Dead: LIVE at PAX Prime

The Penny-Arcade Expo is right around the corner - Aug 31-Sept 2 to be exact - and we're hard at work preparing an all-out awesome experience for The Walking Dead fans! While we're not quite ready to spill our guts about our PAX plans just yet, we are thrilled to announce one exciting facet of what we'll be up to in Seattle! Get ready for Playing Dead LIVE!

On the evening of Friday, August 31, we're taking over PAX's Unicorn Theatre and recording an episode of our The Walking Dead talk show, Playing Dead - and if you’re at PAX, you’ll get to be part of the fun! We're bringing along Playing Dead host A.J. LoCascio (also the voice of Marty McFly in our Back to the Future: The Game series), The Walking Dead project leads Sean Vanaman and Jake Rodkin, and story consultant Gary Whitta (writer of post-apocalypse movie The Book of Eli and the upcoming blockbuster After-Earth).

Playing Dead LIVE's illustrious guests will be talking all things The Walking Dead; delving into the process of crafting a story full of player choices, working with The Walking Dead's mastermind Robert Kirkman, staying true to the comic book series' dismally hopeless world, and more! Better yet, they'll be taking questions from you - the audience, so it's time to start jotting down what you're (un)dying to know about the game! We'll be posting the video of Playing Dead Live shortly after PAX!

If you're trekking to the Pacific Northwest for PAX later this month and dig The Walking Dead, this is an event you won’t want to miss! We'll be handing out an exclusive The Walking Dead surprise to all in attendance - so you'll want to get in line early to ensure your place in the limited-space theatre to get your hands on it!

	You have to try to give us some dates on the releasing of your episodes because that could ease the anxiety.

	Let's hope they aren't Playing Dead on a Mac. They'll have bugger all chance of getting episode 2 to work.

	I don't belive telltale will release any information on a date for ep.3 till pax, which sucks. After all telltale did say in their sorry letter the game would be released near the end of august and when is pax? At the end of august coincidence, ha i think not. So we must wait, patience is a virture they say.... but it still sucks

	Actually, in the apology letter they said it would be releasing by mid-August, not the end. So we should be getting it next week, marketplace/PS store update of August 14th. But knowing TTG I highly doubt it since theres been no information on it at all yet. Nothing we can do but hope!

	If the Telltale Co. was as good as the game it would be a sweet ride , but like most of the time a good game with a solid story base was made and sold to a poorly ran company. So eveyone can cry or err umm type as loud and as much as they please and you shall still get not any info on anything untill Ep 3 comes out 3 months from now followed by another we are sorry letter.

	Looking forward to Episode 3. Keep up the good work Telltale. I also really enjoyed Back to the Future. A sequel to that would be pretty sweet as well.

	I don't get why people are so impatient... I mean, when they said they are planning to release it in the middle of august and people are complaining about it and asking when it's going to come out. I mean... it's not even the 15th. And they wasn't even so specific, so when it's the middle of august, I would expect that would mean 10-20th august. Something between there. And even a few days after that, I would still say it would be around the middle of august. Why complain when it hasn't even come to the time period of the planned release yet? They still have 1-2 weeks to reach the planned release. Stop this whining! One thing is when it's very delayed. And one thing... didn't any of you have summer vacation? I don't use the summer to sit and play computer games. If you still have nice weather where you are, enjoy it. Maybe when it's starting to get bad weather, the game will be ready. It's so much better to enjoy the nice weather by being outside and playing a game on a rainy day than doing the opposite.

	Got bored waiting for each episode so i bought silent hill downpour and dead space 2 to keep me busy ! Will download them when there all out i expect , 2 years from now. Yawwwwn

	I remember waiting for two or three years for LA Noire to come out only to find it was nowhere near as groundbreaking as the hype suggested. Just release the episode. When I bought season pass, I was under the impression that one episode PER MONTH would be released. The last episode was released well over a month ago. Stop lollygagging and release it already.

	Is now Aug 23. Not only has mid-Aug passed and no Ep.3, but no further info on the release date either. Come on TellTale, your customers would appreciate a bit more precise info on date's.
