Wow really? They put this crap up instead of atleast giving us an update on ep 3? Cmon already, ive been trying to have patience but this just kinda did it for me now. I understand they're might be some problems but atleast TELL us about it so we're not in the dark the whole time scratching our heads wondering whats up.

Well, at least they g ave us something to do in the meantime, maybe the game isn't certified yet, so chill your nips! I understand it has been a long time but there is a lot more to do during the SUMMER time guys!

@sfs99 I live in NY so its raining in most of the summer days anyway.

@jdlroqs it doesn't take 2 months to play test and certify a 2 hour long game. It takes like 3 to 4 weeks or maybe even less.

I wonder if TellTale realizes that hardly anyone even cares about the statistics. I personally could not care less about whether the decisions I made during the game play were the same decisions that millions of players made.

I will say, they said they would bring monthly episodes, but chill out, it's coming and at least they gave us this wonderful game.

Most people wants an update on Episode 3 Telltale not statistics. Sorry if this might seem a little harsh but it would be wise if you didn't ignore your fans. They're what matters to you mostly, try not to lose them.

I wasn't expecting the magical words ''released'' or ''on Steam now'' to be written, but I was hoping that at least there would be the words ''still going through the process''. It's not the long wait that I can't stand, it's the fact that I have no knowledge of in which stage the game is in now.

But I'm still a loyal dog who will pick it up the moment it comes out.

Holy hell people. Take a deep breath. They already said they submitted it to people for verification and they'd let us know when they heard back. OBVIOUSLY THEY HAVEN'T YET. If there was new information they would've shared it. This is probably something some people fiddled with while they were waiting, so they kindly decided to share it with all you assholes who do nothing but ream them for it. I will gladly wait for a good game to come out, instead of sticking to a specific 30 day deadline. Monthly was more a guidline anyway. It's not like I have nothing else to do with my life. I'm going to get the content, so I'm quite content with my season pass. Patience is a virtue, and flaming people who are creating awesome material is incredibly stupid.

The game will still be released. If you're that angry about it not being out go spam the Mac pc pa3 and 360 forums with your 2 yea old comments. They're the ones delaying the release at this point. Telltale told you this on the last update.

Get your parents to buy you some other game you want to play until it comes out. Or go suckle your mother's teet if your still that juvenile and cranky over something as simple as a game being approved for platform release.

My advise to any of you that are crying like little babies about how long its taking for the game to come is go read the comic if you havent already done so. Otherwise you can be sure that we will suffer our own appocalypse before we even get to finish this game.

If you read the last blog, you will notice that they had NOT YET SUBMITTED the game for certification. This is still on telltale, not Sony or MS or Valve. If they have since submitted for cert, then yes, I do think an update would be nice.

As soon as we hear back from our partners on when Episode Three will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network, PC, and Mac, we’re going to break that news to you right here."

Notice the words NEARING FINAL SUBMISSION..as in not yet submitted.

This is a game that many of us have already paid for, a game that many of us paid for with the original understanding that it would be monthly, and we would appreciate being communicated with a bit better is all.

Certification isn't needed on the Steam platform, for everyone saying that is all they are waiting for.

The fact is they have obviously sold out to Microsoft after Episode 2 was released first on Xbox.

I am sure they are in that same boat again, waiting on Microsoft, because they paid top dollar for first release. So i am assuming it is released in Xbox on a Tuesday or Wednesday and then release for PC and PS3 on Friday.

episode 3 end of august episode 4 oct 14 or maybe end october for halloween and episode 5 christmas just my predictions. mention a round bout time for a release just increases the anticipation of that release. not nearly as many ppl got the second episode like they did the first and the game will never even get its most sales until every episode is finished not many ppl want a peice of a game they want the whole game. So just go with the flow or find a line and walk real slow. Because complaining definatley wont make thing come out quicker.

This is the First and only time i pay for the walking dead anything from you guys. the 4 ep's i bought i only got 2/4 in this amount of time of months. 1-2hours of game-play..uknow what we all say thinking about that gtfo you stole are money this shit is worth a dollar a ep it's not even that good you cant run or do anything really the only thing good about this game was the story and it could be even more twisting this game is trash. as well as by the amount of eps for 60 dollars you end up paying. you can get a real new game with more content and funner.

Besides, why would any of you want your money back? That's stupid. You paid, what, $25, for essentially 5 games that you KNEW weren't going to be released all at the same time. How is that a waste? I'm really, really not understanding the (lack of) logic here. I enjoy paying the fee upfront and watching the story unfold before my eyes. I figured the price would go up once they finished all the episodes, honestly, like I've seen happen to some other games (Minecraft was cheaper if you bought it during beta, than if you bought it after they released the completed product).
So, children, sit down, shut up, and be patient.

I think It's really lame that instead of getting an actual release date I have to check almost daily to be disappointed, I know there's pressure in delivering a quality product but we shouldn't have to pay for your error in wording (monthly)how big is that window,you didn't hesitate to take our cash why be so sluggish now

I get that it takes time to make a game that is as complex as this game aims to be, and because of that I'm willing to accept that delays may occur, but at the moment it is clear that Telltale isn't going for monthly releases, and those of us who have paid are completely left in the dark about their current release model- some kind of realistic release timeline for the next couple of episodes would be great! Also, it would be nice if there were more than 3 save slots so that I don't need to overwrite a game if I want to explore a different choice.

I'm never buying a tell tale game again. The Walking Dead game is fun but I dislike how they treat their customers. I appreciate that they are trying to make each episode good and not feel rushed but leaving us in the dark and not owning up to their promises on launch dates and monthly content is irresponsible. If you order a Christmas gift online and it is supposed to be delivered Dec 1st but is delayed until the 10th, fine. If it is delayed until Jan/Feb, NOT fine. At this point were I an employee of telltale I would certainly be giving daily updates even if they were simply "its still being certified." I would also be calling the certifiers to remind them that my fans are getting annoyed about having purchased a product they did not receive yet.

No one would ever pick up Half-Life 2 for example play the first stage and then wait 2 months to play the next stage would they, kinda defeats the immersion does it not, at this rate i feel like i gotta play all the eps all over again to keep it fresh. Its Funny to me that evry1 here thinks all 5 episodes arent already finished. Yes all 5 episodes are already finished remember the comercial for episode 2 during the AMC walking dead marathon they already gave us a bit of evry episode also when u finish an episode they show you parts of the story where choices have influenced the changes that are coming, soooo all episodes were finished when the game was first released. Hows that make you feel ? Do you honestly think TellTale cares about the choices the gaming community makes wen testers play through the game just like we do and go through the same choices they aready know what the majority of people will choose to do ther are only so many paths you can take and evry path has been tested long ago.Time is MONEY evry employee has to get paid either a salary or even maybe an hourley rate either way TELLTALE is already working on other games i assure you all.

August 21st and on is towards the end of the month not the middle......you guys should pad your estimates so if you come in early you look good, but at least don't give us bullshit dates....be realistic with your release dates and I bet the fan reactions will reflect that. They said an episode would be added every month (ex. 1 in June, 1 in July... cont.). Not one would be added once an exact month has past (ex July1st, June 1st, cont.).

It's amazing to me how childish and pathetic people in our society have become. We rant and rave because we want to see a different ending to Mass Effect 3. We berate a company like telltale who are giving us an experience unique to any video game I have ever played and yet they are a week late and people start asking for their money back. If you are whining about this content being a little late grow up. This is a well known and respected video game company who is trying to put out a quality product. If you are a gamer then you should be used to games taking longer than anticipated. The world does not revolve around you and complaining will not get you this game any faster.

To all stupid people, who don't understand simple things - it's not that people are just bitching. Yes, Telltale Games make great games, and yes, it is better to wait for the game to be fully ready. But the fact is that TellTale Games clearly said that if a customer pays a certain amount, then he will receive an episode every month. If they need more time, then they just needed to make a greater time interval between episodes. But first they released episode a month later, and then again anounced the release date for the second data and then did not release the episode in time.

Yeah they said the episodes were coming out monthly. Yeah you already paid for the season pass, I get it. First of all, they never "promised" anything, their monthly release was an ESTIMATED release, not a "promise", before they ended up delaying the episodes. Get your facts straight.

Second of all, like I stated in my original point but you clearly were too dumb to read it and even attempt to counter-argue, every other company out there is guilty of delaying their games. People pay for pre-orders of games and expect them to come out when the company says they will come out, and they end up getting delayed, sometimes for years. For example, I payed to pre-order Gran Turismo for the PSP, years before it was supposed to come out. The game never came out for at least 3 years. So I basically payed for something they "promised" was going to come out the year I preordered, but ended up delaying it. As another example, I payed to pre-order Luigi's Mansion 2, expecting it to come out this year, and it got delayed into 2013. Paying for monthly episodic content that gets delayed a month or two, and paying to pre-order games that end up getting delayed for years... guess what? They are:

So if people learn how to be patient, that's great. But if people try taking Telltale down, I'm taking every other games company down with me. boss2 pre-ordering a game with a 3rd party retailer and giving you're money straight to the developer with the promise of monthly content are two different things. Telltale should be ashamed of themselves for scamming the fans out of thier money!!!!

1. This is not a full game it is an episode... 1/5 of a game we have been waiting all this time for.
2. If we paid money for a service it is our right to complain about the crappy quality of timing in which that service is delivered. ie: order something online and it says will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Then 6 months later you are still waiting. Yes you can complain and probably should get your money back.
3. Play the game again? each ep. is about 2 hours, I'm sure less after the first couple plays. by now you could've played the game every possible way and made every possible choice while working a full time job and being a college student... and still had 100+ hours to dump into another game. gone to 2 weddings, etc.. believe me I speak from experience.
4. patience is a virtue? Sure. Do I have a right to complain while I wait? Damn straight. You disagree? Let me hold $25 from each of you naysayers then for...oh I don't know... how about i estimate giving it back to you over a period of 5 months, $5 dollars at a time. (estimate)
5. Suing game companies for a delay? You will not win. If they cancel and you had pre-ordered you will have a much better chance. And I refer to comment 1 of my other post. ep 3 is 1/5 of a game if we tally the whole waiting period up we may be dealing with a long wait for the finished product.

I should also mention that there are usually not excessively long waits or avoiding the deadlines when prepaid games are concerned. Because we have more legal rights than you in this regard.

How is that different? Lol. I paid for the preorder of a game that the developer "promised" is going to release in that year, and it ends up coming out several years later. By the way, for one of the games I preordered that I mentioned above, my money went straight to the developer, not to a third-party source. You're paying for a season pass of 5 episodes that they "promised" would come out monthly, but they're only getting delayed for one or two months. The only thing that is different in either case is the money is going to two seperate entities. The bottom line is in both instances, the developers are delaying games that they "promised" would come out in a certain time, but end up getting delayed anyway. There is absolutely nothing different.

And like millz said, when you buy the season pass, your money is going to a third-party (PS Network, XBox Live, Steam) before being distributed to Telltale. So technically, your point is still moot.

no I'm English only going on post that say 10 dollars I have no idea I pay 5 pound an episode over 5 is 25 pound x q.t current exchange rate 37.5 dollars which is srltill more than you pay. money does have value but I'm not stupid enough to pay upfront for something that isn't out. if you pay for something that not out you deal with consequences.

We are dealing with the consequences. By complaining so other people know not to waste their money expecting good service from bad providers. THAT is my point. no one here has a right to tell us we can't complain or need to be patient.

U know I completely agree with disappointed on we have the right to complain. You guys need to shut the f up and deal with what our comments are. WE PAYED FOR THE GAME. So if u guys think waiting and being patient on the telltale than that's fine. But leave us the f alone and deal with what we have to say. Telltale please be more determined on getting your fans the episode on time. I LOVE the game but the being late is getting ridiculous.

I think Telltale games are doing a great job on the walking dead video game series, but they tend to lie about the release dates which is the worst but still i hope this game comes out soon!

I give up now, won't be bothering buying episode 3 you take too long.

Holly crap been waiting for episode 3 for ummmmm, its been so long i cant remember and then whay hey its released (only in the usa) unfortunately im british and its not released here yet, so what do i do watch the episode spoilers? its hard not to. so do us a favour telltale dont release until u know it can be release globally u dumb arses DOH

Thank you, TellTale! Episode 2 is epic on iOS! A complete thriller, I am so pleased. The decisions were defiantly difficult to make, I had to struggle while making the right choice that was best for everybody. I'm finally getting to understand what survival truly means but Kenny is giving me a hard time. I chose to help Larry, he was in need and I believed Lilly when she said he's not dead. There was no reason for Kenny to act so bizarre and decide to kill him without having second thoughts. I did what was right for his son, Duck; and I was not going to let Larry's right slip by. Unfortunately, Kenny lost control and killed Larry, just when I saw his mouth move and had hope of him living. After that, I felt that Kenny didn't really trust in me and I was beginning to doubt him. He was so loyal in Episode 1, I fear his changes. All in all, it was truly mind-blowing! I'm sure Episode 3 will rule as well.
