In this spoof that is nothing like an actual day at the office, communications break down and Strong Bad decides to take matters into his own hands... Check it out on the Telltale Video site; lazy people may watch below.
Want more? Check out the extended cut of the video, with tons more interviews, and a little more Strong Bad.
With Halloween only two weeks away, we've come up with a the digital equivalent of knocking on a stranger's door and begging for candy. Now through October 31, buy any Strong Bad game from Telltale's site and we'll give you Sam & Max: Night of the Raving Dead completely and totally free, no strings attached! (No razor blades hidden inside, either!) Click here for all the details.
Night of the Raving Dead takes all the horror movie clichés that ever gave you nightmares and serves them up Sam & Max style. Zombies at an underground rave? Got 'em. Fruity vampire guy? Check. Soulful version of Frankenstein's monster. Uh huh. There's even a part where a mariachi dances and sings, and if you've ever been to one of those restaurants with the guys who walk around and serenade you over guacamole, you know how scary that can be.
To get your free copy of Night of the Raving Dead, simply purchase any Strong Bad game from Telltale's store and we'll email you a gift code for Night of the Raving Dead. This includes the Strong Bad season pass, any of the episodes, and even the season upgrade... so if you've already purchased one episode, now's your chance to get the rest AND a free zombie treat! (If you've already played Night of the Raving Dead, you can send the gift code to a friend.)
In other news, with Strong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands almost here, we've decided to put it up for preorder. So if you haven't signed on for the full season but you're intrigued by what you've seen of the upcoming rock & roll episode, now's the time to plunk down your money... you know, so you don't forget later in your candy-induced haze. You'll get an email alert as soon as the game is available for download later this month.
I preordered Sam & Max Wii from GameStop last week when they offered the free overnight shipping deal. (The disc on the left is the GameStop preorder bonus.) If you did too, go check your mailbox! Also, please let us know when you start seeing the game in stores... rumor has it it's already on the shelves on the east coast.
The Season Two soundtrack also arrived at the office today and a zillion copies are en route to our warehouse as we speak, which means preorders will probably ship next week. (It's beautiful, and less dark than in that picture. Here's a better version.)
In honor of Halloween, Steve is posting a bunch of Frankenstein drawings over on his blog, Spudvision. How many different versions of Frankenstein can one man draw, you wonder? Apparently seven (at least), since he's posting a new one every day this week.
(Of course, my favorite of Steve's Frankensteins is this one. Not that I'm biased, or anything...)
