About The Great Adventure Bundle Causes
Posted by Alan September 8, 2010

It's all for the cause: 25% of the purchase price of every single Great Adventure Bundle 2010 sold goes straight to one or all of the five charitable organizations Telltale, along with our partners have selected. When you purchase a bundle you can choose a specific cause to donate to; if you don't choose any, your donation is spread equally among the five.

That's what you already know though. What you may not know is why there are five beneficiariesin the first place. Each of the organizations that benefits from The Great Adventure Bundle was specifically selected by our partners and ourselves.

The Great Adventure Bundle: Now With 100% More Puzzle Agent Unlocked
Posted by Alan September 7, 2010

If you haven't already heard, we've unlocked Puzzle Agent early in The Great Adventure Bundle!

Now you can solve the mystery of the Scoggins Eraser Factory while helping a great cause. If you already purchased The Great Adventure Bundle, Puzzle Agent is available for you too; it's just a quick download away.

We've also brought down the goal for unlocking Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space (that's Season 2 for the more number oriented folks out there) to 5,000 units purchased. So tell all your friends.

Now that Puzzle Agent is unlocked, The Great Adventure Bundle is five great adventure games, that's The Whispered World, Jack Keane, King's Quest Collection, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness - Episode 1, and Puzzle Agent available immediately at purchase - and it's only $19.95! Of course, when we reach that 5,000 units sold mark, the sixth game, Sam & Max: Season 2 is yours as well.

So pick up The Great Adventure Bundle at a great price, have some fun with the games, and know that you did some good all the while!

In other quasi-political news, vote for Bone!
Posted by emily February 16, 2007

Image borrowed from Bone: Eyes of the Storm. And doctored slightly. Hand puppets rule!

As you may or may not be aware, our very own Bone: The Great Cow Race is up for an IGF award (that's the Independent Games Festival, for those not in the know), and the Audience Award is now open for voting. Gamespot has demos of all the games in the running right here for your downloading and playing pleasure.

Cow Race is in great company, with games like Samorost 2, Armadillo Run, Bang! Howdy, and Castle Crashers also in contention (all of which happen to be personal favorites of Telltale staff). There's even a game called Fizz Ball, which has nothing to do with the raincoat, baseball bat, and beer version of Fizzball invented by Steve Purcell and friends in the 80s, but it's a funny coincidence all the same.

So practice your civic duty and go vote! The winning studio gets a $2,500 prize and also the warm, fuzzy feeling of knowing that it's well-loved. And let's face it, a little positive reinforcement never hurt anyone.
