Curious What Could Be Lurking Around Every Corner in Ep 4 of The Walking Dead?
Posted by @telltalegames September 28, 2012

That walker’s getting a little too close to Clementine for comfort…  and we can all blame the writer of The Walking Dead’s Episode Four, Gary Whitta. (@garywhitta)

If you’re following us on Twitter (@telltalegames), then you too may have already begun to worry for Clem’s safety in the forthcoming episode ‘Around Every Corner’ with the release of the episode’s first official screenshot.

Remember, THE TRAILER for Episode Four lands first THIS MONDAY at 12pm PST!  Trust us, you WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!

While we don’t yet have a specific release date for the launch of the episode just yet, the episode is coming in October. Thank you for trusting that, like that walker shuffling towards Clem, ‘Around Every Corner’ is coming!

Looking Back at The Walking Dead Episode Three: Long Road Ahead
Posted by @telltalegames September 25, 2012

We've had quite a busy few weeks here at Telltale, and we're coming VERY close to having some more information on The Walking Dead's next episode, 'Around Every Corner,' written by Gary Whitta.

Before that, we have some things to share with you. Whether you've played Episode Three: Long Road Ahead or not, we wanted to share a peek at what some of the folks around the media have been saying about our group of survivors' journey down the tracks to Savannah.

Check out this latest trailer, and for those curious, that's actually a man you may know simply as 'Chuck' on the guitar.

Enjoy this for now, and note that we hope to have an update on the iOS version of Episode Three VERY soon as well.  We'd like to thank all of our fans for their support, and stay tuned right here, to our facebook, and to our twitter (@telltalegames) for details as they happen.

25 Years of Sam & Max

Created by Steve Purcell, Sam & Max began their exploits in the indie comic book world with a daring adventure to the Philippines called "Monkeys Violating the Heavenly Temple" (drawn entirely without reference). After a series of follow-up comic books, the critically-acclaimed Sam & Max Hit the Road adventure game released in 1993. The dog and rabbity-thing duo moved to television in an award-winning animated series, an Eisner Award winning webcomic, and games for virtually every kind of gaming system.  As for Steve Purcell, among many other ground-breaking projects, he has gone on to co-write and co-direct one of the top grossing films of 2012: Pixar/Disney’s “Brave.”

Telltale CEO Dan Connors said, “We’re very excited to celebrate Sam & Max’s anniversary. Steve Purcell created something unique, funny and enduring that continues to grab new fans every single year; now’s the perfect time for gamers to see what all the fuss is about and for current fans to complete their collections with these special offers.”

“Sam & Max have always had a happy home at Telltale”,
said creator Steve Purcell. “They just “get” what Sam & Max is about and so these games are the perfect place to enter their world. It’s wonderful and gratifying that after 25 years, Sam & Max continue to make people happy and I’m excited that these offers provide gamers with an opportunity to play the marvelously inventive games that Telltale made. Here’s to another 25 years!”

We'd like to thank our fans for sticking with us along our crazy freelance policing adventures over the years, and ask that you share your favorite stories, artwork, and picures of their exploits!

Tweet to @telltalegames and hashtag #SamMax25 with anything related to our heroes to celebrate this momentous occasion.  One random and lucky winner on twitter will win a limited edition, DELUXE Sam & Max statue! Oh my! Winner to be announced at the end of September... Best of luck to our biggest fans!

The Walking Dead Sells a Million Episodes
Posted by Alan May 17, 2012

Much like a herd of walkers, The Walking Dead, our game based on Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series of the same name, powers on! In just two weeks, the game series has sold a million episodes and received critical acclaim from the press!

The Walking Dead has topped the charts on XBox Live and Steam, and just a few days ago was named the number four selling game on PlayStation Network in April (with less than a week in the wild that month)! Fans and critics alike have been enjoying (is that the right word?) making the difficult and sometimes gut-wrenching decisions Episode 1 has called for, and you can expect to be doing more of that in Episode 2 - coming in June.

We'd like to say thank you to the fans - without you, the success of The Walking Dead would not be possible!

Have you played The Walking Dead yet?
