Tales of Monkey Island was an awesome game, no doubt. However, to raise the bar for the next season (assuming there is one), there would of course need to be some changes, additions and some things would need to be removed, but some things would definitely have to stay for the next season and some things should be featured completely unchanged. These things may include characters, locations, objects, types of puzzles, etc.
What Should Be Cut?
What elements of ToMI do you thing should be removed and left out for season 2? They don't necessarily have to be bad things about the first season, just things that were good while they lasted but shouldn't be featured in the next game, or that don't have any place in the next season. But yes, they can be the downright bad things about ToMI that you think should be removed and never seen again.
My choice: LeChuck. Just for next season though, it's time for a new villain.
What Should Be Kept?
What were the good things about ToMI that should be kept for another season? Or what things do you think should be given another chance? Perhaps there are characters, locations, etc. that could be further explored, expanded and developed.
My choice: Morgan LeFlay, this character has a lot of potential.
What Should Be Altered?
Maybe there was something in the first season that wasn't perfect and should be changed. Or maybe there are certain things that should be altered just so that they don't become boring due to being exactly the same for two seasons in a row.
My choice: Character models, or at least some new ones added.
What Should Be Left Unchanged?
What are the things about Tales that you just found perfect, that you want to be included in the next season exactly the way that they were in the first? The things that don't require changing because it could potentially ruin them.
My choice: The Screaming Narwhal, I love that ship.
What Should Be Added?
What is something new that could really benefit ToMI season 2? What are the things during the season that you thought, "Gosh, I wish that was in Tales, that would've been awesome!". Perhaps something from one of the previous MI games (Secret, Revenge, Curse, Escape) should be brought back and incorporated into Tales.
My choice: The coin interface seen in Curse, it was convenient but not restrictive.
So what are your choices?
