  • Ok i got it to install, but now the walls in the first case are black, and i dont know how to fix it! Please someone help me quickly!

  • Hi Bucky,

That sounds like it could be a problem with your video card. What kind of video card do you have?

There's no way to convert the game to Mac. You might be able to run it under Boot Camp if that's an option for you, but I don't know if it works or not.

  • my video card is a Nvidia Vanta...or Vanta LT....and if its not useable, can i like update it or do i have to buy a whole new one?

  • Looks like the Vanta is from around the same generation as the TNT, which came out in 1999. I'm pretty sure it's below the spec required for our games, unfortunately, which means you'd need a new video card to play.

  • oh bugger, that sucks!!! well thank you for helping...now i wont drive myself crazy deleteing things off my computer to try and get it to work!!!

  • Depending on your computer's specs, you might be able to upgrade to a better Nvidia (Geforce) card and place this game. But if your computer is from 1999 also, there are probably other things about it that the game isn't going to like.

  • my computer is def. after 1990....and im not sure how much space i have....how would i upgrade to geforce???? sorry, im like an alien when it comes to this stuff

  • You can buy a new video card from a computer store and install it yourself. I'm afraid I'm not the right person to tell you how to do that, but here are instructions from Microsoft's website.

Like the entire set-up, for example.

  • CSI 3 is on the Mac platform?? I thought CSI 1 was the only CSI game ported over to the Mac platform by Aspyr.

That card doesn't sound right for a Apple computer. If you go up to the upper left of your screen and click on the Apple you'll get a pull-down menu, click on "About This Mac". A new window will pop-up, this window will show what OS version you are using, the speed and type of computer you have, and how much memory you have.
On the bottom of that window there is a button "More Info..." this will open the System Profiler this will show you all your computer specs, including your video card.
Here is a link for Nvidia video cards (Mac) http://www.nvidia.com/page/macintosh.html You should also follow the installation directions that came with the video card that you purchased.

How are you running CSI 3, are you using Virtual PC? Or do you have an Intel Mac computer and have the Windows platform on it?

If you are trying to use Virtual PC, that program is just not made to play games on it, no matter what video card you have.

Bucky1990, I hope this helps you and if you have any questions I'll try to help.

***Also I notice the Telltale Team seems to answer questions everywhere, but since I am here and it's about Mac platform.
I found out today that this company ported Bones for the Mac. My question will Sam & Max also be out for the Mac at anytime in the future? (please say yes, please say yes. :D )
