OnLive 100% off Anything(Including MicroConsole) with $10+ purchase

OnLive is running a pretty insane promotion through Saturday:

Pay $10, get 100% off ANYTHING(only pre-orders are excluded). You can get a MicroConsole for about $20 this way($10 purchase+$10 shipping). I don't know when the actual coupon expires, but there's another promo going on that has a coupon that expires on July 3rd, and so this might be a cheap way to snag Duke Nukem Forever if the coupon doesn't expire before the game's release.

  • Wait, what? This is incredibly confusing.

    OnLive is running this promo.

If you spend $10 or more before Saturday, you get a 100% off coupon around the 13th.

The $10 can come from game purchases, game rentals(2, 3, or 5-day passes), or getting a month of the PlayPack bundle(think GameTap). You'll end up paying at least a bit more than $10 exactly, because everything in their store at that point is $9.99, which doesn't count. Combined or cumulative totals count, so you can pick up two things that add up to more than $10 and you'll get the coupon after the promo period.

The 100% off coupon that they send you can be used on anything that isn't a pre-order, including their MicroConsole(usually $99 or given with a major game pre-order, you still have to pay shipping), and should include Duke Nukem Forever considering the coupons are given out pretty close to the game's launch on the service on the 13th.

That's a bit insane. I mean, god! A new game for 10 dollars?

You have to deal with their weird streaming service, though.

    /snigger

  • That's because the service is US only.

Mind you, my internet isn't even good enough for game streaming. Can't get any better in my area. Instead BT etc are too busy putting in fibre optic in areas which already have fast broadband...

    No it's not.

  • Heh, well if I was going to be pedantic it does say that it isn't out till Autumn, either way my second point still stands.

  • All these deals when I literally don't have a dollar to spare... I hate you, internet. :p
