Hi there!

I was wondering if TTG is still selling 'Sam and Max: Surfin' the Highway'? If not when will they be selling it again.

Cheers peeps,

  • Also wondering if it has all Sam and Max comics in it

  • Telltale is currently moving to new warehouses, so you can't order any physical merchandise until August.

Exactly what physical merchandise will be available in August remains to be seen.

  • I myself would personally like it to be sold at Barnes and Noble, too... but that's just my opinion!

  • Well, I was able to buy a copy before they gave (the warehouse notice) and the comics that are included (in page no. order) are:

    An introduction by Steve Purcell
    Monkeys Violating the Heavenly Temple
    Night of the Gilded Heron-Shark
    Getting Along in the Joint
    Night of the Cringing Wildebeest
    The Damned Don't Dance
On the Road: Prisoners of the Casbah (Part 1)
On the Road Travelogue: Breakfast at the Diner
On the Road: I Love a Band Leader (Part 2)
On the Road: The Official Board Game (is inside part 2)
Artsy Craftsy Bit Of Time-Wasting Nonsense
On the Road: Curse of the Faceless Man (Part 3)
    Our Bewildering Universe
    Disguise-O-Rama
    Bad Day on the Moon
    Beast from the Cereal Aisle
The Magic of Clumsy, Amateurish Animation
    Terror on the Tanbark
    Ponderings of the Ages
9-pages of S&M ads (Mostly for MVtHT and OtR)
    Action Figure Surgery
    The Kids Take Over!
    Skeptical Investigators
    Fair Wind to Java (Colour)
Sam & Max Meet Some Frightening Pirates (Colour)
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe (Colour)
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (Colour)
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Colour)
Star Wars: A New Hope (Colour)
    Frankenstein (Colour)
    Full Throttle (Colour)

    plus... (original and unedited)
The Fishwrap Productions 1987 special cover
    The Comico 1989 special cover
A painting of stuff from HtR and other places (with a few "photos" of S&M at various landmarks)
The Epic Comics 1992 special cover
The Special Color Collection 1992 cover
    The Hit the Road cover
Sam & Max in a room full of blocks of ice (which contain stuff from HtR) c. 1994
Sam & the sociopathic Gibbon (a newspaper on the ground [with the name Purcell] says "Max the lovable bunny shot.")
    Something's Not Right Here c. 1998
    The Season One cover
    The Animated Series cover

  • I have it, and according to the introduction, it's everything that was ever published.

If you love Sam and Max, then it's well worth it.

  • I actually have an extra copy of both Surfing the Highway and the cartoon DVD that I was going to try to sell someplace if you're interested.

  • You can order it on amazon while you wait for a lower price (that's what I did)

Barnes and Noble died recently. :(

    (Sorry for double posting)

Don't you mean Borders died recently?
