  • Lily said they found older couple dead in office when they first got to drug store and took them outside just to be safe in case they turned.

  • Lilly said that an older couple was found in the pharmacy and that Larry removed them in case they weren’t really dead, so Lee’s parents, like his brother Bud, are dead.

  • They're dead. If you engage in conversation with Lilly in the drug store, you can find out Lee's parents had recently died in the office part of the drug store and Larry dragged their bodies out into the back alley in case they were going to reanimate.

  • oh ok thanks for the info starting to hate Larry even more :(

You would do the same thing in his situation.
Everyone is infected, the bite doesn't make you turn it just kills you.
That means the bodies have a very high chance of turning.
Would you really take the risk of having some in there with you?

I just realized... Why would they check the office but not the bathroom? Just think if they were really that concerned (and heck, someone has to use the restroom eventually, no?) why would they not check to only other obvious room?

Hey, man. Shut up! Take your logic elsewhere, it's the apocalypse.

Hahahaha... This woman likes her logic. You can easily look through the grate of the pharmacy to check that room. For some reason, the office was unlocked despite all the other obvious barricades. Lee's parents even put a heavy desk in front of a locked pharmacy door that an axe can't get through, but the door leading to the store from the office gets to remain unlocked?

And then the bathroom is locked and they say, what... That's all good, we don't need to check that room.

They forgot to check the bathroom.

I don’t know how long Carley, Doug, Larry, Lilly, and Glenn were in the pharmacy.

They were probably more focused on disposing visible bodies and barricading the place than checking the bathroom. If they were in the pharmacy for a short time, they may not have had enough time to check the bathroom. If they were in the pharmacy for a long time, they may have overlooked the bathroom. People make mistakes, especially when scared and pressed for time.

Carley has been criticized for not knowing the radio needed batteries and then improperly inserting the batteries, but I have seen little criticism of Carley, Doug, Larry, Lilly, and Glenn for not checking the bathroom.

Five people should be able to thoroughly check a small pharmacy, but instead of them being collectively criticized on this forum, I have only seen Carley criticized. As I said, people make mistakes, especially when scared and pressed for time.

  • I honestly didn't find her not checking for batteries to be that indicative of her inteliigence. She even mocks herself right after for missing that obvious thing to check. When she said she didn't know what to look for, that's when I was like... whaaa?

But that mistake isn't even important. No one checked ALL the rooms. Gathering supplies is a duh, but it's not till I show up that I start scrounging for food. And frankly, despite Doug, Carley, Glenn and such all being part of the Larry group prior to my arrival, no one seemed to give a rat's butt about Larry's pills but me. Even Kenny, who hates the guy, mentions his bad state but everyone else is sucked into their own thoughts such as "broken" radios, a courtyard of zombies that can't get you.... sort of. judging that only a shelf was covering an apparently broken window to the left of the main door... How did anyone think they were safe just cuz the official door was locked?

BUT. Back to the original discussion. I always get the feeling that the lady with the screw driver in her shoulder (you see her as soon as the alarm goes off) is Lee's mom. I think she looks the right body type/age/color ish. Thinking on it more, she seems farther away than "tossing bodies out the door" distance. Considering that we see all the space in the front, does this mean they tossed the bodies out the back? Are we stepping over them to get to the hotel, and later to escape?
