The walking dead not downloading

I bought episodes 2 through 5 and the 400 dlc for my iPhone 4os and the app will not open

  • Also dealing with this issue. After completing the free episode I purchased E.2-5+400 days. Immediately after the purchase conformation the app will no longer open. Tries to load but always returns to the app screen. Have contacted apple support and made multiple posts on the developers website for resolution. Fix or refund transaction.. Please advise Thanks

      We are looking into this issue. If you can provide more information about what you are experiencing, the device you are using the OS version you are running, etc..., that would be very helpful and much appreciated.

      In the meantime, please try removing the application from your device and then re-download the application from the App store. Make sure you have a strong internet connection then launch the app. Since you already purchased the multi-pack, select this again and complete the purchase path. As long as you are logged into the account that made the initial purchase, you will not be charged again.

  • I am having the same issue my wife bought it on her iphone 4s they told her to delete the app and now it wont load at all but before she deleted the app and tried again it kept saying she needed to purchase it and when we do it says you have already purchased it but havent downloaded it but it wont give us anywhere to download it i have sent support an email and have yet to hear anything back but it already took my money but yet no game

    There appears to be an issue specific to iOS 7.0.3 that can lead to a permanent crash for some users. As a separate issue, if you have un-installed and re-installed, going through the purchase path again and being told you already own the DLC is normal. After you've been told that you already own an episode, the Buy button should change to a Get button. Selecting Get will begin the download for that episode. The Get button will change to installed once the game has finished downloading.

    From what we have been able to gather, the issue is not affecting every user, but it is affecting more apps than just the Walking Dead and is a result of a change in iOS 7.0.3. It is likely that iOS 7.0.4 will address this issue. Any refunds will need to go through Apple since they are who you purchased from.

  • I'm on iOS 6 and I have this problem. I brought this pack over a year ago because I really wanted to support TellTale, and a refund is not possible for me according. Is there something I can do to help you guys diagnoses this problem?

    I tried reinstalling and restarting the app each time, trying to connect to different VPN tunnels in Washington D.C., Los Angeles CA, San Jose CA, Austin TX, and Toronto Canada. I even tried 3G/4G connections 20 miles away. It seems like it's a problem with the servers or maybe the app times out the connection to the server too fast.

      Your issue does not sound like it's related to the App crash other users reported above. Are you experiencing a connection error when trying to download or the permanent app crash described above?

      • It's neither, the episodes appear as Not Available. It doesn't seem to be my connection. On my iphone I can see them available, but on my iPad mini and iPad retina, they appear as Not Available. All of these devices are using the same network and iOS 6.0.3.

    The availability information is updated in a few ways. At the tap to start screen when it says connecting..., that is when the game will get information to change the Coming Soon Status to a Buy status. Secondly, if you make a purchase, at that point the game should update the status from Buy to Get. Also, if you un-installed and re-installed the game, the Restore function should update the episode status.

    Let us know if that helps get you back in action.

  • The last update of the 28th November doesn't resolve the problem. With this update, we can launch the app but impossible to restore what we paid... Correct this bug ASAP or give back the money !!!
