Any suggestions in pairing the manatees? No matter what I tell her, she doesn't like it.

  • It was a really bad puzzle, the best episode so far and the one i wont replay again because of a stupid puzzle that makes no sense at all, seems to be the same genius that thought about the monkey kombat in MI4.

  • I'm also amazed that he can talk while holding his breath, now thats talent!

  • How did you people get through insult swordfighting if you find this illogical?

  • This mating ground is as dead as my victims. You males are a bunch of cold fish.
I prefer it hot and spicy.

Watch where you swim. Nobody knows the way to my heart.
    Do you have a map?

You know what I'll say after I devour your bloody heart?
    The meal was excellent.

You think you're clever, don't you? You should know I detest know-it-alls.
    I'm sorry, I don't understand.

What are you, a glutton for punishment? Haven't you had enough?
    ?

I'm not going to let some lummox buy my love with clever words.
    How much is it?
    or
    Do you accept traveler's cheques?

Why should I give you the time of day?
    I've lost my watch.

Let's say I let you keep your pathetic life and take a swim with you. Where would we go?
I'd like to visit the aquarium.

    You're not nervous, are you?
    ?

You think words can sway me. What will you say when I rip off your head for my collection?
    I've been kidnapped.

I can't stand you insecure males. I don't want anyone with a lot of baggage.
    I have nothing to declare.

All you male manatees are imbeciles. Who do I even bother?
    The television does not work.

    Could you please repeat that?

    You're not nervous, are you?

    Ask where the bathroom is!

    There, I helped.

  • Some alternatives that also work and give a positive result:

I'd like to visit the aquarium.

I would like a room for three nights.

    Stop, thief!

And another one that hasn't been mentioned:

Q You dare to disturb me! Would you like me to dye the ocean depths with your blood?
    A1 No, thank you.
A2 Is that blood or ketchup?

Besides that, there are quite a few options that give a negative results, but do make sense and with a different reply for each to explore.

For me it was the best part of the whole series. And english is not my mothertongue either.

  • I think this was one of the best puzzles so far - it was hard, but because you had to think about it, not just because you hadn't found the right item or chosen every possible dialogue option.

I can understand finding it pretty impossible if you're not a native English speaker - but hey, it's an English language game, that's the way it goes. I can't see why that's a reason not to put in puzzles that need some language skills.

Anyway, 15 minutes is hardly an age. It doesn't really compare to the amount of time I spent struggling with the original Monkey Island without the internet!

Well even a primitive Finn like myself had no problem with it  It's really elementary English there if you ask me.
