What do you look like? (Post a Pic!)

I was just posting to one of these on another forum and decided to post on here too when I was stunned to find there is not a thread on here for it! (and I searched! I searched through of 17 pages of results!)

So, very simple 1-5 pics of yourself per post, no double-posting pics (though if you want to post more you can at a later point. Please no photoshopping (except red-eye removal or brightness/contrast)

I'll go first

What if he STILL hasn't gone to sleep?

  • Actually, it doesn't matter. I haven't gone to sleep yet and I'm not going to. If I did go to sleep now, the best I could hope for would be maybe four and a half hours. My sleep schedule is so off track, I'm going to stay up and go to sleep early tonight to fix it.

  • Traveling with a pet it hard. Not only did I have to delay my trip a month for her vaccinations, but now when my flight was delayed I had to take a plane tomorrow rather than later today because pets need to be booked 24 hours or more before the flight.
It's a pain. I certainly wouldn't want to leave her behind, but I guess it's something to consider, everyone.

    I get that alot, actually.

  • The expression on your face has just the amount of crazy in it that I would expect from doodo.

I do try to keep sane. But oh well...

If you're travelling alone and whilst you're travelling can't your husband or someone in your neighbourhood whom you trust take care of the cat(s)? You know like those happy green plants you maybe saw for the last time.

I don't have plants: I need no help for them to die. I'm miserable at taking care of plants, which I believe is tied to the fact they don't ask to be fed and I forget.

I'm going to France after going through California, I won't be back in Canada for months, right now I think the earliest would be something like October, and Sissi is very territorial of me. Cats tend to react poorly to a change of places, but she doesn't care about that, however if I'm not around she won't eat or move or anything, and she'll hiss at everyone to show she's upset that I'm gone (and yes, that includes people she also knows well).

I've always taken her along when traveling for more than a short vacation, and she lives it very well. I think the extra hassle probably isn't worth leaving her behind considering she would feel abandoned.

But thanks for the suggestion either way :)
