A Sneak Peek at Telltale's Future Projects?

posted by RAnthonyMahan on - last edited - Viewed by 488 users

I found this article talking to Telltale CEO Dan Connors. Pretty interesting read, but this is the big part for me.

"Right now, we're looking at movies that are coming out in the next 12-18 months and looking at the cartoon series as far as what we're going to [do next]," says Connors. "We capture comedy in such a way that the South Parks, Simpsons and Family Guys of the world seem perfect for us. That's something we're always thinking about [though no deals have been struck]."

This isn't an official announcement for anything, of course, but make of it what you will.

I still say we need to be a Rogers and Hammerstein musical! That being said, call me Threadkiller.

  • This still isn't as bad as the thread on the then-upcoming Telltale five. And since you said I get Mark Hamill in that thread, I call him for this thread. Being voiced by him would be fucking awesome.

As long as I'm voiced by John "Walter Sobchak" Goodman, you can be voiced by Jesus for all I care. His voice is probably high pitched and he didn't know English anyway. Sucks to be you.

  • Make thread with exciting peek into the future. Come back to see it derailed.

    I hate The Internet. :(

  • I could totally see that post on one of the Reddit memes.

  • a south park game would be cool

    Wait, which one?

  • I'm settling for arnie as voice actor then
Wish I had the skills to sound that dumb. As a german trying to speak english like him still feels like learning a new language.

@SHODANFreeman said: I think what he meant to say was "We're going to make whatever we think requires the least effort and has the highest profit margins. Marketplace realities seem to indicate that our next title would preferably be a Star Wars game."

    Well said.
I personally don't care for a simpsons game at all. Family Guy? Hell NO! Intellectually appealing to me right here
Well SouthPark is great. But for me it's good as a cartoon series, I don't need a game.
I had to look up what Law & Order is and I'll pass on that one too. CSI? don't care either.

But actually I havn't started S&M 3 yet and will buy W&G and ToMI sonner or later. I'm looking forward to JP, Hector and PA2, being curious about TWD and still have some hope for BttF beeing a great game atmosphere-wise so...
as long as they make a faire share but still release a great game here and then I'm gonna have a trolldance for you long-time-supporting customers who truly deserve games the world doesn't need :p

    This one.

  • I want to be voiced by Patrick Stewart.

I would like a Futurama or Venture Brothers game. I can't think of any movies I want to see as a game right now. I know Venture would be hard due to its small cast and character who are always changing, but I can dream.
