A question about Katjaa...

I dont know if it was just me, but it looked like she didn't shoot herself in the head. It is weird because she knows that you have to shoot the head. There was blood on the ground, but not bullet wound on her head. what do all of you guys thing? You think she might be a walker?

The only other explanation besides suicide would be duck in his out of conscious state to somehow grab the gun and shoot her but its not very likely. Sad to see her go really, she was the person who was nicest to everyone in the group, but twd isnt supposed to be happy.

I know she killed her self. I'm just asking if she shot herself in the head or not. It just didn't look like she did is all im saying

  • I was pretty shocked by it, it's pretty clear that she did kill herself with a shot to the head. But to me she seemed to be coping with the situation, better than Kenny was. I guess in the end maybe she was hiding her pain a lot better. I thought she would have been around longer as the teams competent medic.

  • she shot her self in the temple small entry wound if the gun is to her head 'big' exit wound hidden cos she was laying on that side with blood on the ground around her head.. the lood on her clothes was from earlier/ duck coughing over her..

I can't imagine any mother coping well with a child's death, however, I think Katjaa made a calm, thought out decision.

Point. That would make her right-handed and she's turned to cover the exit wound on the left side of her head.

  • She did shoot herself--there are mothers who would do the same thing in her shoes, too.

Not to mention she walked into the forest rather than just shooting herself infront of clementine, she seemed like a very considerate character and its a shame shes gone.

  • I found it odd that, even when you choose to do it yourself and they both walk into the woods, she still kills herself.

Obviously, she's grieving her son's death. She's also seen so much death and gone through immense trauma, from being unable to save a man's life to being tricked into eating human flesh and even came close to dying, both at the dairy and at the motel. On top of that, Kenny has been distant, and the two have been arguing, from what I've seen. But why, when Kenny finally comes to his senses, does she choose to end it? And more importantly: What did she say before she pulled the trigger? I'm sorry? I love you? Or was it entirely spontaneous, with no explanation?

Also, does anyone else remember the conversation they had about why everyone was carrying guns? I wonder... Was she asking, not because she was looking out for everyone's safety... but because she wasn't sure if she could cope? If, back at the inn, you could agree and make sure the guns were better controlled, would she have killed herself? After all, she wouldn't have had the gun on her at the time. It's actually kind of chilling to think about.

First, She probably talked to Kenny alittle bit before killing herself, but I suspect Kenny voiced against it but didn't stop her, and she went into the woods so ben/clementine didn't see her suicide.

Second, Yeah I think if you had the option to do something like that, she would still be around, the only point before this I thought she couldn't cope at was at hershels farm when you talk to her about how they got out of the city, So I dont know about that scene being a warning or anything.

She wasn't asking though, she was voicing her uneasiness of having a gun near her like that.

From the sounds of things, it was entirely unexpected for Kenny. At least from his screaming "NOOO!" when it happened. I really don't think he had a clue.

I thought she was in less pain because she wasn't in denial like Kenny was and instead focused on getting the last bit of time with her son. Rather than being in pain, she was resigned.

  • lol- what exactly is it about this particular game that makes people bend the rules of logic?
Gunshot + to the head area + no hospitals = Death. This is a tried and true equation and has worked for hundreds of years, I daresay since the invention of bullets. But apparently in TWD, no can die from bullets in the head (except walkers) lol.
Episode been out almost 3 weeks and people still cant swallow that bitter pill called Carley's Death. Now Katjaa who took her own life, for obvious reasons, is being questioned. wow
