Did anyone else think it was a dream?

When Lee awoke to find no one in the house, clementine's hat outside and then he is suddenly bitten, I kept telling myself. 'This just has to be a dream..', similar to zombie Clem from episode 3, evidently I was wrong though..

Just curious if anyone else thought the same in the heat of the moment?

  • I didn't think that till I saw the bite then it took me a bit to realize what had happened. I'm still a little fucked up over it.

  • didn't thought about it not likely, but definitly the most beliveable idea i've read today lol

  • Yeah, instantly as he waked up I thought "Oh god no, this is gonna be a terrible nightmare that's full of dog corpses and skinny kid zombies". The bite made me think that even more, but finally I gave up and accepted it wasn't.

  • When Lee noticed the bite and kept muttering no I thought to myself "PLEASE be a dream." But I guess it isn't.

Either way, Lee's realization was basically the same as mine. Except he wasn't as loud.

Same here :) Except I was screaming it xD

  • Nah, they already played that card. I wish, though. :(

Well, even the one Ep. 3 wasn't the first one - just the first we saw. There was the dream in Ep. 1 in the barn.

But yeah, I always tend to assume the worst - it's the "in" thing to do with endings nowadays. I would've preferred a lack of implausible stupidity though "Yeah, zombie infested city, there's no way there could be anything hiding behind that board. Let me just put my unprotected arm back there..."

You learn to check and shake out your shoes in scorpion country for a reason. It strikes me as being incredibly silly that Lee wouldn't be hyper-vigilant around stuff like that, hell, it's even referenced in the beginning of Ep. 3 "We're always worrying about the ones we can't see".

Good point, but Ben also pointed out in this episode something like 'Remember when walkers was our biggest issue?' referring to the danger of people of course. He and others might be inclined to forget about the walkers every now and then and get caught up in the drama at hand.

  • At first, yeah, I did think it was a dream. It slowly started dawning on me that it was reality though. The hat in the yard was just grim acceptance.
