I've been researching the forums to see if any other posts were similar in problems. I thought it would be best to give a detailed summary of my situation:
I had 3 Xbox saves: Slot 1 has a game where Ep1 was almost completed, Slot 2 had a completed episode 3, and slot 3 has a completed episode 2.
I downloaded episode 4 on the afternoon it was released. I opened slot 2 and played about 10 minutes into episode 4 when I had missed answering a question for Clementine. I PROPERLY quit the game by making sure it was not autosaving and chose to return to the main menu. Upon loading the game again, it started me back at the beginning of Episode 1. Frustrated, I played through most of episode one, but got tired and haven't played since.
I just logged back in and whenever I choose my save slot 2, it restarts me back to the beginning of episode 1. My save slot one loads fine, but am scared to see what happens if I try and load my save slot 3. My 1 achievement from episode 4 popped but also is not registering in terms of points.
I've been super patient with TellTale. I was disappointed (but understood their perspective) regarding their "bent" promises of release dates, etc. However, I really do not want to spend 6+ hours playing a game, attempting to make identical choices.
If anyone can help with this problem, I would very much appreciate it. If my save can't be saved (pun intended), I would very much like to request a refund from TellTale of the Microsoft points I spent on the series.
