Favorite Villain or antagonist?

This first season was defiantly given a good amount of villains and antagonists, some of whom have a certain amount of complexity to them, and others that are just plain out cruel and violent. Which was your favorite villain or antagonist (since some of these people aren't truly evil enough to be considered a villain in my opinion)?

  • the St. John brothers definitely. Campman was like the stupidest villain ever.

  • I'm going to vote for Campman simply because I didn't see it coming the way it did.

I had figured out the St. Johns were cannibals before we had even arrived at the farm.

  • I love Campman just for how succinct his story was. He literally had five minutes of screen-time but he was such a presence and you got such a sense of who he was and what he went through. Great job from the voice actor, really sold it. And unlike the St John brothers or the Bandits, I really "understood" why he did what he did, even if I hated him for it. More importantly, he's the antithesis to Lee, a father of regret rather than Lee's father of regrowth.

I really wouldn't consider him a villain, definitely an antagonist though; he was very messed up in the head, but it was understandable to a degree and others have done far worse. I think episode 5 was all about reflection and how we had to treat others to survive. Campman really drove that theme home well as we saw and understood his motives, but understood that he is a broken man driven by revenge and a lust for blood against those who he believes wronged him.

  • I honestly loved the save lot bandits as antagonists.

  • I really liked Andy. I knew they were cannibals a minute after I met them ( no exaggeration ) but I still thought his character was great.

  • For some reason, the Save Lots Bandits reminded me of Star Wars Stormtroopers... they even aimed like them.

Well they were just a bunch of low-lifes even before the outbreak, I guess it makes sense why some of them would handle their weapons like they've seen on TV. I wonder why these games/movies so rarely have ex-military bandits/groups, though...

I mean, cops are pretty common, but you'd think ex-military people would have way better chances of survival than pretty much anyone else. At least if they desert or survive the main army collapse.
