Season 2 should take place before Season 1

Makes sense to me, by this time, the weak and inexperienced have been weeded out for the most part. I think Season 2 would benefit from starting almost exactly when the apocalypse began. No coma that has the main character walking up to the world already gone to shit. I want to see society as it falls. Chronicling the fall of Savannah and rise of Crawford would be something I'd like to see.

  • At the start of season 1 the zombies have barely started to show up. How far before do you want it to start?

  • I think he really means concurrently, at least with the start of Season 1.

  • It would be pretty interesting to see the ZA actually from closer to the beginning, and I would be all for that. But what I want more is to see a setting that is perhaps farther north.

  • I would hate if this happens, i want season 2 to continue immediately from season 1 ending. Hopefully playing a strong character who has become very accustomed to the demands of the ZA

  • I'm hoping they at least release a special episode that just shows what exactly went down when it was just starting. Sperate from the second season.

  • well Lee was there for the beginning of the outbreak so idk how far back they could take the games further. I think Season 1 was supposed to be a prequel for the entire TWD universe actually

  • I wouldn't like that, I would like to start from when Clem sees the figures in that field, but to be honest I wouldn't mind starting a little earlier to see how the figures got there if it is Christa and Omid then it should be a cutscene but for new characters then I think that they should make it interactive of the two (if new) characters making their way to the field, and then Clem seeing them, but I can't wait to see how they do it :) I hope we don't have to wait for like 2 years.

  • Lee's story begins at the onset. Society hasn't even fallen everywhere yet considering lee was cheated on, had a trial, and was being brought to jail. The walker that was crossing the road randomly and then lee killing the zombified cop was like one of the first incidents both characters even heard/saw of walkers. And lee's story in episode 1 all happens while rick is still in a coma.

The webisodes, and michome's story also take place around this time, when people still are living their daily lives and aren't aware of walkers until you see them randomly eating people on the streets.

Exactly so I'm not sure how much further back they can go. When does rick wake up from the coma and realise that it's a zombie apocalypse comparative to the game? I just wondered...

  • Man, really don't you have any impression about "Walking Dead"(including comics and tv-show)?
On Walking Dead the main reason is never told.
On Walking Dead it never shows how society as it falls.
On Walking Dead there is no "in fact", "essentially", "originally" etc...
On Walking Dead, people lives and dies and that's all, there is no turning back.
It tells us stories -good stories- about situations. We see characters whose actions are important much more than the reasons. Something happens- it just happens, and that's all. I strongly advise you to keep your expectations with this direction.
In my opinion, there is no turning back and I'd love to see as it is not turning back.
