• I'm always tempted to buy KOTOR II when I see it on sale, but seeing as I barely managed to get past the tutorial level of KOTOR, and did so without ever figuring out how the damn combat system works (Yes, I know, turn-based RPG except you queue your actions and watch several play out at once. I still don't get what's going on when I play it.), I can never justify the purchase.

I still intend to go back to KOTOR and try again at some point. Just haven't worked up the motivation.

Edit: Fuck it. My Steam library's already full of games I haven't even touched (and thanks to Humble Bundle and Indie Royale, several games that I don't even know what the hell they are), so for $2.50, what's one more?

• Americans(or overseas people with an American Amazon address) who want Spec Ops should buy it from here instead.

Twenty cents less, and comes with the first two Bioshock games as separate keys.

If you haven't, this would be ideal. KOTOR II ties a bit into the mythology and characters set up in the first game, and part of the brilliance of it is how it reflects on the first game, its events, and its characters. I'd suggest playing these two back to back if at all possible.
Seconded. Both great games in their own right, but even better if played together.

(And they are both on offer, even if Steam doesn't make it entirely clear, so you might as well)
Ah, I didn't know KOTOR was on sale too. OK, I picked that up too, so I'll play them in order. :)

• Bleck. Just got locked out by steam gaurd. Wouldn't normally be a problem if it weren't for the fact that I had to use a temporary email account on steam and IT locked me out. Sent a support ticket to steam with my Skyrim CD code, so I hope that is enough proof I own the account so they can disable steam guard...

• So, scanning the Dawn of War bundle I picked up earlier... was there a reason why they had to put The Last Standalone in it? And why don't I have it?

• Flash Sales:

Tomb Raider Collection 75% off
Jet Set Radio 66% off
Spirits 75% off

The Last Stand is a popular mode of the latest Dawn Of War Expansion if I remembder correctly and was released as a standalone product at a lower price. I have no idea though how that works. Maybe it just gives you a version of Retribution when you buy it on it's own?

• Flash Sales: They don't stop for Christmas, so why should I:

DOTA 2 50% off
Max Payne 3 75% off
F1 2012 50% off
