DLC Character Ideas

I was thinking, with Poker Night 2's shiny new graphics (from the screenshots it looks like it might be the most visually impressive Telltale Game yet), perhaps instead of making a Poker Night 3 years from now, there could just be added in character packs. So in other words, if Telltale were to do something like this, who would you want to see?

Pack 1:
-Lee Everett
-Elizabeth
-Garrus Vakarian
-Doc Brown
-Card Dealer: The Sniper

Villain Night at the Inventory (Replaces the PN2's characters with villainous counterparts):
-Mack Salmon (assumming Steve Purcell would let them)
-Evil Ash
-The Monarch
-Handsome Jack
-Card Dealer: Wheatley in his "core transfer with GLaDOS" incarnation

    Skunkape
    Judge Brown
    Galeb
    Sheriff in Puzzle Agent

You make a Roger Jackson pack and include Sheriff Tethers and Judge Brown but NOT Mojo Jojo?! FOR SHAME.

  • Duke pack
    - Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem series)
    - Duke of Nuts (Adventure Time)
    - Dukey (Johnny Test)
    - Bo Duke (Dukes of Hazzard)

Duke Nukem: Who are you people anyway? A washed-up television icon, a walking sack of nuts, a cartoon dog. You're not even that one famous cartoon dog.
Dukey: Speak for yourself, Duke Vaporware.

  • My Wish List:

    *John McClane (Die Hard)
    *Sterling Archer (Archer)
    *Scout (Team Fortress 2)
    *Homestar Runner (Um... duh)
    *Dealer: Wheatley

Scout: Has anyone ever told you that you sound kinda stupid?
HR: No, but Stwong Bad says I look stupid all the time.
    Scout: Can't imagine why.

MC: So how's work down at ISIS?
Archer: Eh, the usual. Eat lunch, sit in the break room discussing sex, go on top secret missions to kill people, same old same old. It's getting pretty hectic with all the terrorist plots recently.
MC: I've had to get through a few of those.
Archer: And how did it go?
MC: Not well. I've still got glass shards in my-
    Archer: Never mind!

Dealer: Christopher Walken. Or a parody of him.

  • The Bad-Ass Normals
    Nathan Drake
    Lara Croft
    Isaac Clarke
    Sam Fisher
    Dealer: Duke Nukem

  • Surely TT needs at least one in-house character, or it gets stupidly expensive?

Who do you propose? Sam and Max and Strong Bad are all taken, The Bone deal got the kibosh, Guybrush's technical owner is up for debate, Wallace and Gromit belong to Aardman, and Law and Order, BTTF, Jurassic Park and the Walking Dead are all copyrighted franchises. Even if you argued for D.I. Hector or Agent Nelson Tethers, they would look a little out of place being 2D characters in a 3D environment.

I'm just saying, it might be a bit difficult to find a good new character.

May I remind you that Strong Bad and Tycho are 2D animated drawings in a 3D environment?

May I also remind you that there's more to the Sam & Max and Homestar Runner franchises than the title characters? They're still on good terms with the Chapman Brothers, I believe (even though they're not currently available). They're also still on good terms with Steve Purcell and Graham Annable. Sure, BttF, Jurassic Park and Walking Dead are big franchises but they're more likely to get those characters cheaply (well, cheaper than other film companies, comic publishers and large gaming houses) because they've already proven to the franchise owners that they can write well for these titles.
