Lee's WIFE as the PC?

This idea's been mentioned here before by someone else, and I thought I might as well post a thread about it.

The only particular problem with this scenario (as I see it) would be having Clementine somehow meet up with Lee's wife. Out of all the loose ends left over from season 1, Clem's story is the one most players want to see continued, and it would be a stretch for the two characters to run into each other, especially in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.

  • If she is still alive, maybe not as a PC, maybe just as one of the survivors.

If they were to use Lee's wife as the protagonist they could actually keep that fact a secret into late in the game. We know almost nothing about her from season one other than she was married to Lee, cheated on him, and traveled for work. Her name, race, appearance, demeanor, occupation are all pretty much blank. You can play her all game and somewhere towards the end it comes out she used to Mrs. Everett.

I think he mean't that she would have trouble living with herself. If she married him, she must have loved him, or at the least he loved her to kill the senator. The fact is, her cheating on him caused the death of that senator, and the loss of her husband. It also caused Lee to go to prison, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of a zombie apocalypse. I don't know if I'd live with myself over that, not that I'd do any of that. I definitely hold that as worse than Lee murdering the senator. However, that is just my opinion.

  • Nah, she's better off dead.. because of her, Lee had to kill a man =.=

  • No no, Lee killed the senator for SLEEPING with his wife but he he didn't touch his wife at all.

  • The way Lee talked to the stranger didn't seem to indicate him killing anyone but the senator, and I'm still fairly sure that Carley or Larry would have brought it up if he had killed his wife.

That said, I don't imagine that we'll see her as a survivor.

Correct. I have no idea the state of Lee's wife as of the end of the season, but she was alive when Lee last saw her, pre-zombie-outbreak.

  • Well... If Lee's wife is anything like Lee's wife in http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8726510/1/A-Second-Chance, then I'd have to say NO. She is terrible in that fanfiction :P. Still, if she turns out to be a semi-decent person, I wouldn't mind.

This could be interesting, and something i would enjoy. It doesn't have to be the major focus of the game or anything, but still a subtle nod to Lee in ways.

    Hm.

I take full credit for the idea!

    :p

  • Wait a second, PC stands for Political Correctness?

PC kinda bugs me when someone has brown skin and is claimed to be black instead or whatever, I don't exactly understand but it's probably the PC-ness.
