Poker Night 2: WTF...

posted by SouthJerseySam on - last edited - Viewed by 938 users

How can a company who created the previous Poker Night game, the Homestar Runner games, and the Walking Dead game fuck up so badly with the development of this piece of shit? Every time I try to play the fucking game on Steam, it crashes. How the hell is this possible? I have a fully functioning computer with 8 GB of memory, about 300 GB of space out of my 1 TB hard drive. I have numerous other games on Steam (L4D 1 & 2, TF2, CS:S, CS:GO, Killing Floor, etc) and they work fine. This... wow, just fucking wow. I know they made a few updates, but it's just not good enough. It still crashes. So, please, for the love of Christ, fix the fucking problems. The first Poker Night wasn't this much of a hassle.

I meant "crush" with the dxdiag.

From you I was asking for the event viewer data of a new crash after the change, as i described here:

@SouthJerseySam said: Please check if the game crash creates an entry in the
event viewer in the "Windows Logs/Application" section.
If so, right click the entry, select "copy the details as text", and paste them in a new reply.

The sound drivers could use and update, but i suspect the same issue.

Please also check if the game crash creates an entry in the
event viewer in the "Windows Logs/Application" section.
If so, right click the entry, select "copy the details as text", and paste them in a new reply.

It's still the same kind of crash.

I fear that's something i can not solve and requires attention from TTG.
You can write an E-Mail to support@telltalegames.com including a link to this thread. Maybe they can figure it out.

I don't expect it to do much in this case, but for the sake of completeness you could try if updating your sound driver helps.

  • can you explain how event viewer works or to get the info u need from me
