One thing I still don't get.

Remember episode one in the drug store? There's alot of shooting and car sounds and larry mentions it's the military. however, what happens to them? the second you step out, there where hardly any signs of a fight, let alone and dead military personal. Did they leave this open for the 400 days DLC or something?

  • @Zeruis said: That IS a little dubious. I'm just going to stick with the military, though. As far as I know, TT had no plans of DLC/season 2 after episode 1 came out. After episode 2 came out, they had announced a season season.

Which means that some 400 days ideas were not likely incorporated into the first episode.

Surely they'd be some dead zombies and stuff, considering there is still a big herd outside right after. Maybe Telltale had the plan all along? We'll see next month but.. I'm still curious

  • All you hear is a few shots from what must have been a rifle. Larry thinks military but that doesn't mean he's right, for all we know it could have been like one or two guys trying to get out of town. you hear the same at the end of the episode at the motel. More gun fire and screams.

  • Well they are there when you come back in ep 2. A bit... snappy.

The sounds they hear are a couple blocks away, though you can see the results of a later military raid in episode 3.

  • Well, someone from Telltale (I think) said that they had a little backstory for the zombie pilot in Episode 3. He was, apparently, taking some soldiers to Atlanta when something happened, and he crashed, died, and reanimated. I guess tat that is as good an explanation as any for why there isn't much military presence in Macon: they were going to Atlanta, and that guy in the helicopter was some unlucky person who crashed directly into the drug store.

Ah. I see, that explains it, Thanks Jake :D

Intresting :o That's gotta be the unluckiest guy alive.

  • Well, not alive, precisely. Not anymore.

  • I personally like it when these things aren't really explained and don't lead to anything. Makes it feel like more of a living, breathing world that has many people fighting for survival.

Lee was lucky there were also shots fired when he jumped into Clementine's yard.

  • The answer to everything,aliens.
