Engineer: Wii, Xbox compliance / Online, DRM
Telltale Games is searching for a qualified Wii, Xbox and online compliance engineer to work on our growing library of unique episodic games. This position is responsible for creating solutions to Wii and Xbox compliance issues and integrating them into the Telltale production tools. Compliance issues include various error handling around file I/O, controller interruption, dashboard/channel menu integration and other system/user configuration issues (such as achievements). This position is also responsible for similar issues regarding downloadable PC products, such as DRM and website integration.
- Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interfaces for Wii & Xbox error messaging, Dashboard/Mii integration, controller messaging, and other generally console requirements
- Develop and maintain PC game "wrapper" which allows for integration of game content with the Telltale website
- Develop and maintain interfaces for a variety of DRM vendors and DRM schemes (timed demo, content base demos, etc)
- Develop and maintain deployment technologies for XBLA, WiiWare, internet downloadable and other digital distribution targets
- Essential Skills and Experience
- Fluent in C/C++ ( including STL, templates, etc )
- Minimum 1 year game development experience
- Past participation in console compliance (any console)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- Direct experience with Sony or Microsoft submission processes
- Experience with Software Passport or SecureROM
- Experience with LUA
- Experience with web development
