Environment Artist

Telltale Games is looking for a talented Environment Artist to assist the art team in creating great looking game environments. The ideal candidate should have good eye for composition, color theory and passion for adventure games.
  • Responsibilities
    • Model, texture and light clean, efficient 3D environments for use in-engine from provided concept art.
    • Maintain the game’s established style in modeling, textures and lighting.
    • Paint great looking textures in the appropriate style from reference or from scratch.
    • Seek and implement feedback from designers and Leads to accommodate gameplay and art features into the environment.
  • Essential Skills and Experience
    • Strong understanding of architecture, composition, design and lighting.
    • Ability to assess and implement clean, efficient geometry for maximum performance in the engine.
    • Expertise in Maya's Modeling, Texturing and Lighting tools.
    • Expertise in Photoshop
    • Strong understanding of game design and games technical requirements.
    • Self-driven, excellent verbal and written communication, Team player
  • Portfolio Requirement
    • Along with your cover letter and resume, please include a portfolio of samples that represent the range of your skills, provided that everything has been cleared for release by copyright owners. Generally, 12 to 15 pieces are a good sample. We prefer links to online portfolios, but you can also send a DVD or color photocopies to:
