Marketing Intern

Telltale is currently looking for a Marketing/PR intern. Telltale is the first and only studio to release interactive episodic content on a monthly schedule. Founded in 2004 by LucasArts veterans with decades of experience, Telltale has quickly become an industry leader, establishing the model for downloadable game seasons and releasing more than twenty games to date.
  • Responsibilities
    • Assist with production of marketing collateral such as sales brochures, sell sheets, fact sheets, Q&A, and promo swag
    • Help maintain press database and coverage archive
    • Facilitate merchandise inventory management, for Telltale fulfillment house and for in-house uses (mailings, giveaways, trade shows)
    • Obtain game assets including screen shots and game footage for release to press or marketing partners
    • Assist in the preparation and onsite support for sales meetings, trade shows, press events, and consumer launch event
    • Help with the planning of execution of focus groups and customer surveys
    • Gather and assess market data to measure effectiveness of marketing activities
    • Special projects as needed
  • Essential Skills and Experience
    • Interest in video games, entertainment, pop culture
    • Coursework in marketing, business or communication (Bachelor level preferred)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must work well in team environment, strong inter-personal skills
    • Be adaptable to a fast-paced, innovative environment
    • Strong work ethic, initiative and ability to proactively own projects
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Preferred Skills and Experience
    • General video game familiarity and knowledge
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, and/or Microsoft Access, Page Layout (InDesign, QuarkXPress)
    • Video editing skills (Final Cut, Premier)
    • Online proficiency and connected
