Studio Manager

Telltale Games is searching for a Studio Manager with development and management experience. The Studio Manager will report to the executive team and will be responsible for ensuring the continued success of Telltale's revolutionary episodic model.   • Responsibilities
    • Manage Production staff and Leads to ensure that project needs are effectively communicated and addressed
    • Institutionalize Telltale episodic production processes
    • Identify the need for and recruit critical talent
    • Oversee the management of multiple complex projects concurrently, including review and feedback of project scope, requirements, and analysis.
    • Allocate and track resources for project and needs; communicate status to senior management
    • Provide hands-on mentoring in areas such as requirements analysis, project management, communication skills, organization skills, leadership skills, etc.
    • Review, comment and approve milestone submissions
    • Budget management against individual product P/L's
    • Interact and negotiate with talent, creative and agents relating to feature film, TV, and publishing in coordination with Manager of Rights & Clearances and Legal
    • Write and hold performance reviews
  • Essential Skills and Experience
    • Successful track record in the development of entertainment software products
    • Shipped at least 5 titles in a Producer or Leadership role
    • Proven track record with license-based projects
    • Excellent written, oral and email communication skills
    • Strong understanding of the software development cycle, with at least 3 years of Internet/Web industry experience.
    • Strong project and time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities
    • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
    • Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics
    • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • PC/Internet Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Explorer, FTP, etc..
    • Extensive Knowledge of game creation methods.
