Designer
Mark was born on the tiny island of Bermuda and throughout his lifetimeproceeded to move to the following locations: Ontario Canada, Eureka CA, St. Mary's MD, Pensacola FL, Maryland again, Philadelphia PA, Pittsburgh PA, and now San Rafael CA. Most of his childhood was spent taking apart his toys to make new ones that no one else had. His teenage and young adult years were focused on art, acting, media development and playing guitar in various rock bands (Plastic Toys, Glori-H). His passion for creativity and entertainment eventually led him to further his education. He studied fine art at St. Mary's college where he also took over as head of the campus TV station. Later he earned a bachelors of Science degree in Multimedia Arts and Design from the Art Institute if Pittsburgh. While there, he founded PinheadGames.com and created a series of successful web based adventure games, including the award winning Nick Bounty games. When Mark learned that many of his former idols from classic Lucas Arts game development were forming a new company, he quickly began sending a series of self indulgent emails to the new company in hopes of being hired. A few months later he was working among them on projects like The Sam & Max: Comic Generator and CSI: Hard Evidence. Many of them are shorter than he expected. |
