Spinning Fence?

I finished episode #1. But, what was the deal with the pimwheels and the spinning fence? :confused:

You need to watch some of the Wallace and Gromit short films - the spinning pond/gate and the gnome with the "stop/go" signs are featured in those. When Wallace and Gromit drive their car out the front gate, they come in handy.

Of course, this hasn't happened in the games (yet) but having those in there are a nice nod back to the animations that started it all.
